Just a poem I wrote after my unusually crummy day, but hey, you get back up right? ^^

Title: Somewhere

Somewhere out there, yes only somewhere,
The days are what you want them to be.
There is no end to every mystery.
Facts are not tacked on to our skin,
Misery does not always win.
Time does not tell the world to turn,
And no one needs a mirror to reflect themselves to others.
Somewhere, yes somewhere, anywhere...
The night does not haunt you with beasts' breath at your window,
The days do not swallow you.
In this place, somewhere, who knows where, there is meanings powerful enough to save the dead.
In this place, so very far away, unreachable, yet all the same,
There is a reason that the noon bell signals, not at the end of the day, but at the beginning,
Somewhere, yes somewhere,
But not, no never, here...

dream world

I'm a little bit apprehensive about stepping into someone else's world... but, this poem is for you, L33T M45T3R, and my angel dog, Betsy.

i open my eyes
and you are not there
because this is the real world.

where in the dream world
its the only place i can see you
the world hanging between life and death

the one place there is no pain
the one place imagination can exist

withdrawing into myself
is the only way to access.
as i grow weaker
more into myself

i am still alive
you are still alive
but ive turned us into walking zombies
with my selfishness.

there are no words to express how sorry i am
as i absorb you
your last dying screams
echoing at the back of my mind
the best i can do is withdraw farther.

and say goodbye to life
and say goodbye to death
forever suspended

I see you go double
I see you need help
But I'm just a whelp
Still i will assist
Watching you resist

Saying Goodbye

"You look hurt... is something wrong."
"No, not really, i was just remembering."
"What where you remembering that would make you so sad?"
"I was just thinking about someone i once said goodbye to..."
"What is goodbye?"
"Goodbye is when you're leaving someone."
"Does saying goodbye to someone hurt?"
"It does... especially if you have feelings for that someone."
"Then why do we say goodbye to people?"
"We say goodbye because we have to, not because we want to."
"Then why is it that we have to say goodbye?"
"There are many different reasons why we say goodbye. The reason that hurts the most is when we have no say in the matter..."

without you i have no reason
to add to my few seasons
i'd felt so alive
now so deprived
there was you, there was me
that was obvious, plain to see
but now without you
i know just what to do
im no longer fit
to leave my pit
i could wander around
no clue where im bound
but no, not anymore
im weary and sore
im so very tired of living
my heart's stopped spinning
but now comes suicide
in you i shall confide

note, i am not meaning this... this is a "request" from a friend
