Assassin's Den

Book retrieval

Here's the book, Ezio. I can't read it all but it seems to date back to the Roman Empire. I could pick out Julius Caesar's name on the tree as well as a few of the Templars. In addition, there seem to be depictions of the Apple, drawings and diagrams. I may be wrong, but there were quite a few guards around the room, which casually opened books people left with. They didn't realize I had it when they inspected me. After five books of embroidery and etiquette, the two at the entrance exhanged looks of exasperation, telling me to run along to my family. The fake cover over it also worked well.

I'll have to figure out another bookworm trick for the next mission.

Update on Lucca Assassins

This “Rocco” person is not what he seemed to be. After shadowing him for three days, I realized I was following the wrong man. He was completely normal. Well…as normal as you Italians get. I still don’t get a lot of the things you do and I understand the language even less…even though it’s beautiful. Therefore, my conclusion of the man La Volpe directed us to is that he was using this normal man’s name in order to move around quietly. I don’t have any leads on this man…outside of the name. This is turning into a run around. I will update as soon as I find another lead. It would be greatly appreciated if La Volpe can provide some sort of description…or maybe something with his scent >.>;

Seriously...

I think you girls are taking these missions to seriously...as though you are trying to find real information on half the things I give out. No. *chuckles* Sometimes it requires some research. Other times I want you to use your imagination.

But, even when using your imagination, try to tie it back to real life history. Because that is essentially what Assassins Creed was born of. Ubisoft wanting to make a game where you could just run around and climb everywhere and keep it as historically accurate as they can, but making it interesting to play at the same time.

A good example would be the Pazzi Conspiracy in ACII. Lorenzo de Medici and his brother WERE attacked by the Pazzi family and Guilliano WAS killed and as a result the Pazzi WERE erased from history by Lorenzo, all of that really happened, but Ezio wasn't really there and the Templars weren't really involved. Though, honestly, it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Rodrigo was in fact involved...but you see what I mean, right?))
