I trained with Zag in the forest after finding nothing in the area I thought someone screamed from... and also got lost, so I continued training Zag by knocking down some pokemon. I mostly challenged Mankey's so Zag could build an immunity to its one weakness, which was a fighting type. And Zag didn't disappoint either. Zag gained a lot of eperiance points and learned a few new moves aside from the ones he was already taught.
"Maybe we should go back to the city now Zag," I told my zigzagoon.
Then we heard a growl and a female Shinx came out from behind forest trees, wanting a battle. I had never seen a Shinx before and they looked pretty cool to me, so maybe... I'll catch this one.
Shinx apparently had the ability intimidate because it was trying to scare Zag, but to no avail because Zag was clearly at the higher level. "Zag, use Headbutt!"
Zag zigzagged right at Shinx and Shinx countered by tackling right into the headbutt, but only hurt itself. Shinx fell and landed on its side and attempted to get up but collapsed. "All right, you're mine Shinx!" then I threw a pokeball at the pokemon, which rumbled and shook a few times until it stopped and I picked it up.
I smiled, "Sweet, now we can go back to the city."
Both Zag and I left to the nearest city and came into the pokemon center to heal my new Shinx that I named Zari because of her fiesty adittude she gave me in the forest. "Hey, did you hear about the battle tent challenge?" someone mentioned.
I blinked and took up both my pokemon. "Yeah, I heard the gym leader was participating and battling against some weak chumps to train her pokemon," the other trainer replied.
"Excuse me," I came up to them with Zag in my hands, "What are you talking about?"
"Heh, not like you'd be strong enough to enter from the looks of your pokemon, but we're talking about the battle tent that just came up," the trainer told me.
"Oh really?" I asked in an unimpressed manner, "So where is the battle tent?"
"Close to the pokemon center, you better hurry if you want to enter, they're going to stop taking in people in a few minutes."
I nodded and walked out with my pokemon. "All right, thanks."
I went over to the tent and made it in the nick of time. "What pokemon would you like to enter?"
"My Zigzagoon," I replied, smiling.
"Are you sure?" she asked doubtfully, "Rarely many people enter a normal type pokemon."
"I'm positive," I said and she sighed.
"All right... Go on in."
I walked into the battle room and it seemed to be pretty big. There were a few other trainers in the room along with me. "What pokemon type would you like to go up against?" I was asked.
"Fighting type," I said straight out.
After I said that, a girl walked into the room and was smiling confidently. "Easy win," she said and threw out a machop.
"You'd be surprised," I replied and sat Zag on the ground.
"Begin!"
"Machop, use Seismic Toss!" she commanded.
"Dig!" I told Zag.
Machop tried to grab Zag, but Zag slipped through his grip by digging underground. "Keep your guard up Machop!" she told her pokemon.
If I knew anything from when we trained with the mankeys though, they were a lot quicker and stronger than a machop due to their rage. Zag didn't dig far though because Machop stayed near the hole, hoping that if it did that, it couldn't get hit. Zag came up from behind Machop though. "Headbutt!"
Zag slammed his head against Machop's back and shoved the pokemon into the hole my Zag had dug previously. And Machop was down for the count. "First round's mine."

Hello everyone. I would like to say once again, Please post. I want to see how many people will post before I continue the story. 30+ points a post(depending how long it is).
Also, the pikachu colored pichu event is ending tomorrow in the USA. Please post.
I ran up to the battle tent ahead of everyone. I saw the dark grunts go in, but I didn't care! I was ready for this. The attendant smiled at me. "Hello! Would you like to enter?"
"Yeah, with my Murkrow. Krow by nickname!" I said. She nodded. "I'll enter you in the tournament! Enjoy!" I nodded. Entering one of the battle rings, I stepped up to the contenders stand.
"Our first contestant is Zoey! She's entering with her Murkrow!" the announcer said. Over in the next ring, I saw Zapdos getting ready to battle with his Pichu. "Zoey! Pick your contestant type!"
"Psychic!" I said loudly. A small smirk rose to my face.
"Then, Zoey! Your first contestant is Trainer Felice!" A girl in green and purple outfit walked on stage. "Felice is entering with her Abra! Now contestants, prepare your Pokemon... and... START!"
"Go Krow!" I pointed and he flew out. The trainer looked confused with his strange color, but she continued.
"Abra!" She said. The yellow thing just sat there. "I said go!" she said angrily. It got up and ambled into the stadium.
"Krow! Use Shadow Pulse!" I said.
"Teleport, Abra!" she said. I knew the move was useless. The Abra teleported to the edge of the ring, but shadow pulse was a 360 move, and was a direct hit. Abra was stunned and really badly hurt.
"Take it out Krow, use Wing Attack!" He flew it and smacked it upside the head with a wing. It fell over on its back, knocked out.
"This rounds winner is Zoey! That was a short match! Next match will be after current battles are finished!" I smiled, and Krow flew back to me, perching on my arm. I walked over to the next arena, to watch Zapdos battle. From what I saw, he was doing good so far...

"Battle tents. That should be fun." I said as I continued looking for the Dark energy grunts that I saw enter the city, "Come everybody. We are going to the battle tent."
We entered the battle tent. I then saw a grunt enter the battle field. I went to the person at the desk and asked them why a dark energy grunt was in the field.
"We still need one person to battle. Will you enter the tournament?" the person asked.
"I'll enter, but that grunt needs to be kicked out of the tournament. He is going to use a Shadow pokemon." I replied. The desk attendent went pale.
"I'm sorry. I know how horrible shadow pokemon are, but once a trainer enters the battle zone, they cannot be removed from the battle tent." The attendent said, "Which pokemon will you use?"
"I will be using pichu," I said.
"OK. Please enter the battle zone, and good luck!" the attendent said.
I entered the battle stage. There were five stages. I went to stand on the stage that was empty.
"Here Is Zpados and his trusted partner Pichu!" the announcer yelled. "Zapdos! What will your battle choice be!?"
"Flying!" I yelled into the crowd.
"Zapdos has chosen the Flying type to be his first battle in the battle tent! Bring out his opponent!" the announcer yelled into the crowd. A person walked on to the stage. I couldn't tell who they were because of the blinding light on the stage.
"Zapdos's first opponent is Charlotte of Sparkle City! This will truly be a battle to remember!" The announcer yelled.
"Long time no see, Zapdos," Charlotte said, "I hope you have trained Pichu well. This may not be an officail gym league battle, but I hope you battle like it is one."
"Now the battle of Zapdos VS. Charlotte Will begin!" the announcer yelled.

I am also adding a side quest in the RPG, Battle tents! The battle tents appered in emerald in a few important cities. These will train your pokemon in preperation for the Battle Frontier, which will be opened for exploration after the 8th gym is defeted by anybody. The first tent will be in Shining City and will be in a style similar to platinum's battle hall. Victory in a battle tent will earn points for the Pokemon Regions store. The Shining city tent will be important because the first gym leader will be in the tent! continue the story and attempt the Battle Tent challenge. New ranks will be added to the rank list for battle tent victories!
