What is your definition of 'abuse' in sense to religious beliefs? That people are stereotyping the religion and the beliefs or people are making fun of the beliefs? I'll post on this once I understand the question fully. =D
Anyway, my school is an all-girls Catholic prep school. It is basically a normal prep school, except we have classes on Catholic beliefs (we just call it theology class), teaching about what the Catholic Church believes--but not trying to push Catholic beliefs onto others. My school feels like one big family--we all know each other (even though it has about 1,200 kids) and we all help each other out when we need help. We do have a Mass once a month in the gym (our chapel isn't big enough) in which people may or may not participate according to what they believe or what they would like to do. And of course, we wear blue plaid skirts and polo and or blouses (either blue or white), which must be worn according to a dress code. We have many rules regarding random or important things, but overall easy to deal with and not a big deal to fuss about. We usually never have any issues with drug use or criminal activity within my school--girls know that they should behave at school. Overall, if I was given the chance to go to a public school or a Catholic school--I'd choose the Catholic school. It is just a great experience overall.
