This is what the Adminpwn said from the development blog:
“I'm just writing to let you all know that I'm still alive, and that Dead Frontier will be a getting another large update in the next month or so. Here is what I'm working on right now: ■New Missions. I'm looking to add total of around 60 new missions to the game. In addition, there will be two new missions per day rather than just the one that happens currently. I apologise that these have been such a long time coming.
■Larger Inner City with a new, much harder end zone.
■Increased level cap. The new maximum level will be 220, allowing players to completely max out their stat points.
■A massive range of new standard (non limited edition) equipment. Everything from weapons & armour to purely cosmetic items. We're looking at close to 100 new pieces in total.
■Various improvements & updates to the weekly Top PvP and Top Survivor competitions.
■Dead Frontier: Outbreak 3 :D
■A bunch of general bug fixes and optimizations to the game client.“

So if you're bored and want to play DF 2D again, and you don't know how to get to 2D version here are some very simple steps:
1. Log into your account
2. Go back to Nastya's Outpost
3. Go to Meeting hall
4. Go to Rules and informations
5. Scroll down and you should see "Dead Frontier Classic" and click on it
6. Go to the link and change the settings(IMPORTANT: DF 2D is no longer supported by the Admin, so when you're playing all missions rewards and exp cannot be gained. However, loots can still be looted and found inner city.
7. If you want to change back to 3D version, you have to either die and spawn back to the outpost or walk all the way back. To change the settings, just follow the top steps again.
There are few ways to stop auto deletion on your DF account. One is to buy credits or Gold Member with real money. Once you bought the member and/or credits with your money by using phone payment or credit card, the Admin will know that you payed money for playing DF and they will stop the auto deletion of your account.
Another way to stop Auto-deletion is to reach up to level 51.
Account Inactivity:
Level 1 - 10 accounts get deleted after 7 weeks of inactivity.
Level 11 - 20 accounts get deleted after 11 weeks of inactivity.
Level 21 - 30 accounts get deleted after 15 weeks of inactivity.
Level 31 - 40 accounts get deleted after 19 weeks of inactivity.
Level 41 - 50 accounts get deleted after 23 weeks of inactivity.
Level 51 - 220 accounts are safe from auto-deletion.
