As some of you fanboys and fangirls may know now, DC Comics is planning to revamp the "DC Comcis Super-Heroes" (DC Universe) franchise for modern readers and as part of the plan, it will launch a few new comic book series titles while some already-established ones will be relaunched (example: the ongoing "Batman" series title "Batman") and some will be ended/cancelled so as to have 52 canon DC Universe titles running on an ongoing regular basis after August 2011. The revamp event we're talking about is "DC Comics The New 52", and although the event will not start until August 31, there has been a matter of controversy about it with part of it regarding costume redesigns.
