You seem to have stumbled across my Tales Updates, whether you meant to or not. Here, I give info on Namco-Bandai's Tales of RPG series, known for its real time battle system (the LMBS) and its animated cut scenes made by Production I.G. It all started on December 15, 1995 when Wolf Team's Tales of Phantasia was released for the Super Famicom in Japan. (Members of Wolf Team later broke off and made Star Ocean, but that's another story for another time.) With the development of the series' fifth game, Tales of Symphonia, Tales gained its own studio dedicated solely to making new games in the series.

Currently covering: Tales of Graces, Tales of Symphonia Tethe'alla Hen

Vesperia OP Comparison

Note: There are only really two differences to look for, and one is far more noticeable than the other. If you're expecting something majorly different then you'll be disappointed. (Video quality has nothing to do with it, either.)

1) A scene with Rita was removed and replaced with Patty
2) Patty was added onto the scene at the end. It's hard to notice unless you're looking for it.

ToV PS3 Has Reversible Cover?

Not my pictures.

(So cute~!)

Some ToV PS3 Stuffs + CM2/3

EDIT: 4Gamer has articles up on Tales of Graces and Tales of Vesperia PS3. They don't watermark their pictures, so these are the best ones you'll find (Pascal and Malik's official art is in the Graces one).

Most of this post is just some stuff that's been revealed about Tales of Vesperia PS3.
Hisuka and Shastere from the upcoming movie are confirmed to be in a subevent in the game.

Also for Patty's Summon Friends...is that Barbatos I see?

Over Limit Level 8?!

Also, I didn't touch on this, but a previous scan showed that you can fight Dhaos, Kratos, Barbatos, and Shizel all at once now.

Now for attachments.

A new Overdrive Doll for Repede which sticks every character on him. And...GIANT KAROL. *laughs* Also, this picture shows the official names for some of the previously announced attachments.
Karol: Monocle
Yuri: Anger Glasses
Raven: Feudal Lord Top-knot
Estelle: Kaiketsu Mask Kamen (translating kamen would've been awkward since it means mask and it already said mask in English)
Rita: Rouge
Patty: Cat Hat
Judith: Dog Ears

New commercial time!

3rd commercial. It's about the same as the 2nd one with only slight differences.

Tales of Vesperia PV 3

Okay, if everyone would turn their attention towards the Tales of Vesperia PS3 site and the Trailer section, you'll notice a new promotional video has been added. This new video points out several new things that I'll list:

  • A minigame involving Repede
  • Another anime shot of Patty
  • Several of the characters' second hi-ougi are shown: Flynn has Enhahouyokushou, Judith has Haourougetsusou, Patty has Summon Friends (*stifles laughter*), Karol has Gousenbakusatsu Ultra X Bomber, Yuri has Tenshoukouyokuken. Phew, I believe I need to space some of those.

Add those to Estelle's Ultimate Elements, Rita's Indignation, Repede's Lightning Moment, and Raven's Crisis Rain, and I think that's all the secondary hi-ougi for each character (of course, we don't even know Patty's first one or if she has one).

There might be more new stuff than that list has, but having not actually played the 360 game yet...yeah, I couldn't tell you.

ToV PS3 Site FINALLY Open + TV CM1

The Tales of Vesperia PS3 version site FINALLY opened! *everyone dances* Nah, I'm kidding about the dancing, but with the release date being so close, I'm surprised it didn't open sooner.
