Cutepresea here. I've decided this world will be dedicated to the Tales of game series. Most of the time, any information will be from the official website itself. Sometimes it'll be from magazines such as Famitsu. And much less often, I'll tell how I'm doing in a playthrough of a Tales of game I'm playing. It just depends on what I can find while looking around.

Tales of Destiny PS2 Remake Opening
Song: Yume de Aru Youni
Artist: DEEN

Currently working on:

  • Playing Tales of Legendia again (Panda Senel!).
  • Getting the Red Lantern in the PS version of Tales of Phantasia so I can get Shadow, and eventually Pluto. I know it's in Morlia Gallery, but I keep dying on Floor 21. ^^;
  • Playing through Japanese version of Tales of the Abyss again, in celebration of the anime by Sunrise.
  • Playing through the English version of Tales of the Abyss again to do the Mystic Artes that are only available in the English version.

Some More RM2 Characters

*sigh* It's a shame I gotta make another post today, but I just discovered a scan containing some new info for Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2.

Yeah, some of those characters are old news (Lilith, Colette, and Asch), but we see that Reala (Tales of Destiny 2), Claire (Tales of Rebirth), and Estelle (Tales of Vesperia) will be in it.

New ToS OVA CD and RM2 Character Pages

Gah, I've been kinda sick, but I'm still giving updates for you guys (even if no one sees it, because that's how dedicated I am to doing so).

So let's see, the Tales of Symphonia: The Animation site has info for a CD up on its News Page. Excuse any poor translations. Remember, I'm sick.
From December 28 to December 30 at Comic Market 75 at Frontier Works' booth (stupid stuff held in Japan), a new CD to celebrate the Tethe'alla part of the OVA will be sold for 2,500 yen. It will contain a Radio Part and a Drama Part. The Drama Part will be called "Maid in Altamira" (pun intended). The Radio Part has Katsuyuki Konishi (Lloyd) and Masaya Onosaka (Zelos) talking about ToS as they usually do.

It'll start being sold to the general public on January 28!

Voice Cast:
Lloyd Irving-Katsuyuki Konishi
Collet Brunel-Nana Mizuki
Genius Sage-Ai Orikasa
Refill Sage-Yumi Touma
Zelos Wilder-Masaya Onosaka
Kratos Aurion-Fumihiko Tachiki
Regal Bryan-Akio Ohtsuka
Presea Combatir-Houko Kuwashima
-and others-

Mint Adnade (Tales of Phantasia), Veigue Lungberg (Tales of Rebirth), Tear Grants (Tales of the Abyss), and Spada Belforma (Tales of Innocence) were added to the Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 site's Character Page. Mint and Veigue don't have hi-ougi, but Tear and Spada do. You can go check those out if you want. CP would like to get it out there that she's deeply disappointed Veigue's video doesn't have him yelling, "KUREAAAAAA!!!"

RM2 System Update

Eh, see what happens? A not so great update, and then a few hours later, yet another...not so great update. Anyway, the Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 site updated its System page.

A video on equipping was put up. Also, the Ninja class and Dual Swordsman class videos were added under the Class section. Nothing really exciting here, to be honest...But hey, an update is an update, right?

Release Date of RM2's Theme Song (and possible name)

How the heck did I miss this? While looking on several sites, I found the listing for BACK-ON's single, "flyaway," which will include the theme song for Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2. Apparently it'll be released January 28, 2009. (The name is a tentative title, so it may change.)

RM2 Update and Viva Tales of + Tales Festival 08 DVD

Okaaay, for some reason, they put up some character pages on the Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 site (and it's only Wednesday!). Suzu Fujibayashi (Tales of Phantasia), Keel Zeibel (Tales of Eternia), and Chloe Valens (Tales of Legendia) were added. Sadly, none of them have hi-ougi in the videos and Senel's skit face looks SO WEIRD! (Curly, bluish tinted hair, what the heck?) There's also a video on the Broadswordsman class in the System page's Class section.

Now as for the DVD mentioned in the title--Next year on January 23, a two disc DVD will be released containing the events at Tales of Festival 2008 and 17 parts of Viva☆Tales of! (which aired on BS11 Digital every Friday from July 4-October 24, and yay for being able to type "hoshi" to make a star!). It, however, will not include the DEEN performance nor the showing of Tales of the Abyss episode 1.
