In its early days, this World used to be all about smart discussions and posts and stuff like that. But since I hardly write articles now because of the lack of time, this World is now a place dedicated to showcasing whatever I do that doesn't relate to blogging about my life (which is already covered in this World). So, in a nutshell, this place is for graphics and resources.

Important News, Landmarks and Events of TheO [last update: 27th of October, 2012]
I took the time to browse through the news archives and selected the most important ones, from the point of view of a newbie to this site ^_^ If you have questions, hope some are answered here; if not, you can ask me directly. I've decided to dedicate an entire post to this, since it was a very long list. You can browse the site-related news by year by clicking this link.

Here's the screencaps I took with making icons in mind, I figured I might as well share them because I won't be using all of them. I didn't screencap each every scene because I lacked the patience for it, but they're still fairly spoilerish, so view at your own risk. Taken from the BluRay rip version. Please credit me/link back if you use them~
Notice the plural in the title :D I also revamped the vectors section, redid all the thumbnails to showcase the vectors better because the old ones were fugly, dammit! And yay, three more unplanned projects down! The next ones will probably be girly vectors since I'm trying to tidy up my folders and have discovered a crapload of girl vectors :|

You get inverted variations because sometimes you just want to use white text instead of the usual black :3 I should say that they're not simply inverted (like the MS Paint kind of inversion), but manually switched to white-and-black.
Note: while they may look jagged here, the textures look good on icons (with a Multiply or Screen blending mode).

How to achieve this effect in Photoshop CS2
Font: PF Tempesta Seven Compressed (download it here)
Size: 2.8px
Letter spacing ("Character" pane, horizontal arrow thingy): 300
Row spacing ("Character" pane): 3px
Bold (optional, may be left simple)
Anti-aliasing: either None, Sharp or Strong (Sharp recommended)
Note: if you use a letter spacing of 400, use a Height of 70%.

P.P.S. Don't you think Tetusuhiro in this image looks a lot like John Kramer a.k.a. "Jigsaw" from the Saw movies? This scared the bejesus outta me when I screencapped it last night.

Warning: slightly yaoi content! I'm saying "slightly" since there are sex scenes but no genitalia is shown, so technically it should be SFW. Of course, I don't want to have my files removed/account banned so the more risky scenes weren't capped ^_^
Alas, after reading Koisuru Boukun from AnimeA, I found out there's also an OVA for it, so I downloaded it even if I'm iffy about watching anime nowadays. I'm happy that the OVA followed the manga very closely; unfortunately, it's only 2 episodes long (for now, at least). I should also mention that the OVA isn't too extreme, but the manga is hot, so approach at your own risk :D
Oh, and KB is a sequel to Challengers, but I wouldn't recommend that one since it's kind of bland. You can read KB on its own without worrying about missing out on anything vital.
Part two will follow soon when I will have screencapped the second episode and fixed the images. I already removed some text from these screencaps but I can't afford to spend any more time on them right now so I hope they'll suffice :] This is kind of a gift, so HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVERYONE!
