Moonlight - Chapter 3

This chapter is called Fly (Read this after story!! I know someone who didn't...) technically because at the beginning they're flying together but also as if Jake is saying we will fly together only and with no one else

We were flying through the air! I looked down, seeing how far up we were. I gave a yelp, wounding my arms around Jake’s neck in a way not to look down. He seemed to like this, as he was smirking. Sooner had I realised we were back in my house. I opened my eyes, noticing, and pulled my hands away from him, feeling embarrassed.
“Laura, whether you like it or not, I’m going to have to hide in your house while they’re on the prowl.” Jake mused, grinning from cheek to cheek. He was going to enjoy this…
I wiggled away from him, but this time he didn’t let go. He kept me close to him, moving hair away from my neck. I soon figured out what he was going to do, and struggled more to be away from here. But once again, it didn’t work, next time I might as well not try, since I knew what would happen. He licked my neck, and for the first time revealed his fangs to me.
“No…” I whispered, but failed. His fangs dug into me, piercing my flesh, blood spilling out. I held my breath, clenching my eyes shut. Once again blood drained from my body, and I grew weaker and weaker. My blood Pulsed through its veins, and my heartbeat quickened. Jake stopped, seeing the limit. He licked his lips and for the first time smiled at me. I was angry that he took my blood, but that anger left me when I saw his smile.
Unlike last time, I kept awake, and during that time, I stared into his crimson eyes. Something just wouldn’t let me hate him. Even if I wanted, I couldn’t hate Jake. He wasn’t smiling anymore; the Jake I first met was back, smirking like no other day.
“You’re unbelievable,” I whispered, resting myself on him. He chuckled, and brushed his fingers on my eyelids, closing them.
“Go to sleep.”
At that point I didn’t feel his warm chest anymore, but instead the warmth of my bed. He sat in a chair near me, watching me till I was awake no more.

Jake was chained to a wall; he was trapped, and couldn’t break free. David, Elliot, and three more people stood in front of him. One of them looked very young, with brown hair, he thought the whole thing was funny. Another had short, black hair, with his arms folded, a frown planted on his face. The third person had long, bluish hair tied up, his face was sad, and he was whispering something. I couldn’t hear anything, and the only word I heard was ‘sorry’.
David was emotionless, staring blindly at him. And Elliot was muttering; “You’ve got what you deserve…”

I woke up startled, what had happened to Jake? What did he do to get chained up? And what would happen to me? Jake himself was still sitting in the chair, and just got up to sit beside me. “What’s wrong, Laura?”
“Nothing you should be worried about.” Wrong. Everything about this should be worried about. “Just… a nightmare.”
He lay down on my bed next to me, and put a strand of hair behind my ear. “It will be okay,” He whispered, holding me next to him. I gasped as he had done this.
“Why do you do this?” I asked, trying to push him away. It was not like I didn’t like this, but I just didn’t feel right with it. And anyway, he should be glad I’m not kicking him out of the window and locking it! Actually, that’s not a half bad idea… I shook my head, and looked up at him.
“Don’t you remember? I made you my girl, and no one will take you away from me now.” Anger suddenly grew up inside me, I don’t know what brought it, but it just did. I couldn’t control it. I once again pushed away, this time succeeding.
“You made me ‘your girl’ only because you wanted my blood! Otherwise I would be dead!” I threw at him pointless words, I felt stupid, as if I wanted to be dead.
“I could’ve killed you when I took your blood, but like the rest, I didn’t!” He himself was now getting angry. I should have been scared now, but I kept on. I still had my normal clothes on, so I put my shoes on, ran down the stairs, and I burst through the door. Right now, I had no reason to cry, but they came either way.
I kept running, till I came up to a lake. I stared into the lake, remembering it. When I was little, mother and me always sat by it and talked all about our worries and fears. Jake just caught up with me, and stopped beside me. I turned to run, but he grabbed my arm and pulled me to him. I bumped into him, but he wrapped his arms around me and held me close. This time I didn’t resist, I just cried. I grabbed the back of his shirt, burying my head into his chest and crying. Crying with no end.

Moonlight - Chapter 2

For those out there reading this, I thought I'd finally let this out! Hope you like! The previous wa a real cliff-hanger... I'll also say the meaning of each chapter name. Dark, was for the dark alleyway which she met him. And Shadow, (Read after story) when he said my girl, that he would watch over her like her own shadow. Enjoy!

I struggled endlessly, but I made no progress. He licked some blood from my neck that was spilling out, as I closed my eyes in fright. It’s going to end; it’s all going to end! I kept repeating those words again and again in my head. The vampire paused, and silently whispered in my ear.
“I won’t kill you like I have with the others. Don’t worry, because now you are my girl.” A smirk spread across his face, as he bent over my neck to start feasting. My whole body started to become weak, as blood was slowly drained from my body. But was this boy really not going to kill me, or was that just an excuse?
The vampire lifted his head, and saw how weak I had become. He picked me up, carrying me to someplace, somewhere… but I couldn’t tell, for at that moment, I fainted.
I woke up in my room, seeing the time. It was half-past midnight. Only then had I realised that I was leaning on a cold body, with two arms holding me close. I looked up to see the boy who attacked me. I tried to move, but I was too weak to even try. A voice wafted into my ears, “Are you awake?”
With all the strength I could muster, I nodded, uncomfortable of my position. I suddenly didn’t care what happened to me, I knew my soul was drifting to death, and we can’t change someone’s death. Exactly like mother, she couldn’t stop herself from dying. All I would have to do know is just get to know the boy before I die. “What is… your name?”
“Jake, yours?”
“Laura.” Even though his body was cold, he was soft, and was more comfortable than it seemed. But I still thought I was in the wrong position.
“Laura, you are now my girl… I shall be your shadow…” He licked my cheek, laying his head on my shoulder. I couldn’t do anything about this, whether I liked it or not. I couldn’t move, nor did I have the voice to scream. Now I started to ask random questions that popped up into my head.
“Do you ever sleep?”
“No.” He held on to me tighter, as if he’d never let me go.
This time, I tried, his grip was strong, but if I never tried I would never know. Though I must say I was disappointed that I was leaving this cold that had turned to warmth. I had somehow succeeded, but didn’t last long as I lost my balance, and collapsed just onto my bed. Surprisingly enough, he didn’t move, he just watched with amused eyes.
I was very tired, and considering I was on my bed, I decided I would have some rest. Jake walked over to me, lightly touching my neck. I was soon drifting into a deep sleep.
I woke up the next morning, feeling very hot indeed. I looked round, but Jake had gone. Or maybe that was just a dream? Well, if it was, it was a pretty scary one! I slowly got up, exhausted. Much to my concern, I found I still had my school clothes on. I also realise I was late for school! I got up, picked up my bag, and ran to school.
The day went smoothly, and all those thoughts of yesterday didn’t crowd my head as it had done the day before. As I was walking out of the school, and about to head home, I saw a boy. Of course! There was a new boy in class, but I hadn’t said hello to him or paid any attention. So I decided I would do so now.
Walking up to the boy, I saw he had dark red hair, with orange, dark eyes. “Hello there! You’re new aren’t you?”
The boy looked at me, but didn’t say anything. He just ignored me and started walking the other way. I ran after him shouting. He led me into a shaded place, and finally turned around. I stopped too, hands on knees and breathing heavily. “Hey, why didn’t you stop when I asked?”
He picked up a strand of my hair, gently smelling it. “My name is Elliot. Do you know someone called, Jake?” I stopped to think for a second. So it wasn’t a dream?
“Yeah, I think I do… I don’t know…” He grabbed my shoulders roughly shaking me back and forth.
“Yes, Or no?” I didn’t reply this time, but unclenched his grip and started running for all that I was worth. I turned a few corners and found a dead end. I couldn’t go back, he would be catching up with me. Without thinking, I gripped onto bricks that were sticking out of the wall, and started climbing. Soon Elliot was visible beneath me. He jumped up high and pushed me down with one hand.
I landed on the floor with a thump, and he came down to, grabbing at my neck and pulling me up. I was now hanging in mid-air, struggling for breath as his vice grip knocked it all out. From Orange, his eyes turned into pure blood red. Rain started to fall, just as I lost all hope, I was pushed out of his grip by Jake himself. “Nuh-uh, no one hurts my girl like that!”
“Jake!” Elliot Screamed, smirking for the first time. “So you finally came out of hiding, did you? David will be happy!!”
“And so I am…” A voice ripped through the rain, and I saw the vampire from that first night, which had drained the woman to a pulp! It seemed like this ‘David’, saw me too, and staring at his eyes I was instantly terrified.
Jake grinned, but I noticed a pinch of worry in his eyes as he looked at him. That’s when he made his decision. He picked me up and sooner than I had noticed we were jumping up to high places unreachable to mankind.

Moonlight - Chapter 1

I was making a new story, and wanted to share it. This is a vampire romance, if you don't like vampires, and can't handle some romance, have a look and if you don't like, you may go, if you must... Anyway, enjoy!

“Why must we all some day die…?”

I couldn’t stand it any longer. Why did Mother just die like that? She was all I had left. Must all people die, leaving this world and others behind in pain? Isn’t there more to life than just death?
I listened to the noises and sounds that beckoned the roads and alleys. There was nothing else I could do, just be alone, and that was what I wanted least.
A scream arose from a few yards in front of me, and I ran to its location. Lying there, a lady in a red evening dress was on the floor, bleeding heavily. Kneeling next to the woman was a man with blood-curdling red eyes, and black flocks of hair beside his cheeks. Fangs protruded from his upper lip, and blood was being licked off from his bottom lip.
In an instant, the man appeared in front of me, my feet wouldn’t move, I couldn’t do anything. The man reached towards me, I tried screaming for help, but no words came out.
The world went blank.
I don’t know how long it took, but I was soon awake, lying against a wall in an open alley near the road. “What happened?” Those were the only things that I could think of. I remembered nothing, only that I was waking down the alleyway, and nothing else. I probably just reached the end and sat down for a rest, right?
I got up, starting to head for home. A gleaming red eye, stared at me. I did not realise, nor did I realise I saw him only half an hour ago.
I soon reached home, and started unlocking the door. Once I got in, I glanced at the clock. “Oh my! It’s already so late? I better get to bed, and quick!” I was soon ready, and settled, cuddling up into the duvet.
I neither realised now when the same man as before was spying at me from the window, but even if I did notice, it would’ve been make believe, for he was there for no longer than a second.

I was walking through another alleyway; it seemed to now be a hobby of mine. I turned a corner and froze still. There was a trail of blood leading to some place, and I instinctively followed the trail. It was not long before I saw a boy leaning against the wall, blood dripping from his mouth, and all over his hand. He was smiling a wicked smile, and staring straight at me.

I woke up startled, then relaxed, and thought properly about the dream. It was creepy, and I suspected that it was a nightmare. But one thing kept me thinking. I recognised the fangs, the blood and how the eyes stared at me. I just kept thinking I saw all that before. And something was just not right about it.
I got out of bed, dressed, and headed to school. It was in my first year in High school, and to relax I always walked through dark roads.
School was soon ended, though I hadn’t realised, I wasn’t paying attention to school today, my head was devoted to that subject instead of Maths or literature. I just couldn’t find the piece to the jigsaw puzzle.
I soon decided that I needed to go investigate the same alleyway that I walked on last night, or I would never know.
Later that night, I walked through the same alleyways, following my head. I suddenly gasped when I saw a trail of blood. I suddenly started to feel very uneasy. I saw all this before. But this was my chance to find out, so I’d go and check what would be at the end of the blood-brick road. A wicked smile pierced through the darkness. I took a step forwards, but this time, I could walk no more. The boy, the blood, the fangs… It all circled around my head. Fangs? That’s what I forgot. Who has those? My memory all flooded back to me. The man, the blood-drinker, the dead woman, all this added up to a vampire. But was this boy another one of their race? What was going on?
“Hey…” The boy whispered, getting up from the wall, and walking towards me. “I’ve already had dinner, are you for dessert?”
His clothes were stained with blood; and he was no longer than a metre from me by now. This time, I had strength enough to move, my fear didn’t drain it all like last time, and I was going to soon make my move.
I twirled on my tip, and started to run like a lion, but he was catching up, no matter how much I tried. I was so scared; I wasn’t watching where I was going. That’s where I made my mistake, when I tripped over something. I fell down; laying my hands out in front of me. The boy went down in the same position on top of me, holding my neck with his claw-like hand. I was trapped.
What made things worse? His bloody hand made blood prints all over my neck, which made me more vulnerable. With his sharp nail, he pierced my skin, making me automatically scream. He put his hand over my mouth so that no sound came out.
Was I really going to die?

My Stranger of the Night

Ok, this is a poem which is called "My Stranger of the night"! I hope you like it and please comment!

You come to me silently riding wings of black night,
And you step in my dark and forlorn bedroom,
To come and capture my soul of pure light,
Under the stream of the shining full moon.

Piercing my skin with a soft yet sharp bite,
Your love to me is an endless rain,
From someone as you with such power and might,
To only me you release such sweet pain.

Yet I am weak and merely a human,
You still chose me and only me,
Out of those many other vampire women,
And that is how you chose it to be.

I shall return your burning love,
And give you me when you need to feed,
Even now that I may be a fallen dove,
I will help you when you truly need.

You are my vampire,
And I am your light,
Each soul of each we desire,
My forever stranger of the night.
