Anime Vegas' programming schedule does not seem to be up anywhere...
Well the time is almost here! I'll be arriving in Texas tomorrow, just in time for a Con full o' fun! Remember we're having our initial TheO meetup 10am Saturday in the Press Room.
This year, the room next door to Pearl 5 (the home of A-Kon Cosplay for many years now...) has been annexed in the name of costuming and photography!
Looks like there's only one room next to said Pearl 5, so the meet-up will be round-abouts there~

Here's the schedule of panels, signings, etc. So if you can't make the meet-up, you can still discuss events to meet-up at so just mention and we'll find out who's planning on being where-when ^^
Tomorrow is the first day of AnimeCentral, with Saturday being our meet-up. Here is the schedule for those looking to get a peek.
A master floor plan of the Hyatt can be found here (in PDF form). On the first page, locate the "Front Entrance". See where it says "Perks" to the right? We'll be meeting right there in front of the convenience store.
Don't miss out! Remember: Saturday at 3pm!. I'll be cosplaying as Xion (Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days) and will most likely have a very tall L (Death Note) following me around, along with a Kamina (Gurren Lagann) and a Shinsengumi member as well. If you spot us anywhere else, please pipe up and say hi!
Meet-ups are a good time. Trust me.
I got the Press Room scheduled for us so be sure to come in cosplay...unless you'd rather take pictures of the rest of us ^.~ We will initially meet at 10am Saturday morning, but the fun doesn't have to stop there!
Sure this will be a nice time to meet each other and get pictures to make the rest of TheO insanely jealous (if we aren't already all insane ^.~) but we can do other fun things or discuss if there are any panels/events we want to do together or go to lunch as a group, etc.! So let the activity brainstorming begin!
I'll most likely be in my Botan Cosplay, Anyone else know what they'll be cosplaying (if anything)? We can also plan ahead some fun things to do as a photoshoot in one giant crossover skit! X3
So we're about a month away from AKon happening now! Exciting right? It's in Dallas, TX and even though I'm not in Texas right now, I look forward to going! I think a TheO meetup there would be pretty fun and would like to see what other Otaku's will be there, so please speak up!
I'm going to venture that the most people will be in attendance on Saturday, so I'd like to shoot for 10am for a meetup if that works (not too early I hope, but early enough not to conflict with other events). I'm also looking into scheduling a photoshoot time in the new photoshoot room. Not sure how that will go over, but if it works out, I think it would make a convenient meeting place. If we can't schedule it, we can always meet up right outside that room ^^
Of course if there are other options that work better, I'm open for them too! So I hope to hear from all those that are planning on attending! :3

The Meet-Up
ACen has a nasty habit of not releasing their panel scheduling until a few days before the con, so we're just going to go ahead and set out meet-up.
Years past, we've met outside the little food mart located inside the Hyatt, and there seems to be no problems with that. Is 1pm 3pm on Saturday, May 9th good? We shall do what we always do - talk, joke, lounge, and have a good time. Feeling ambitious? Maybe we'll order a pizza or two for dinner.

Well, if you come, then that's one more! Want to attend the meet-up but stuck somewhere like the artist's ally? Field trip!
