Summary: Oz Vessalius (Bezarius), heir to one of the duke houses, has just turned fifteen. His life is rich and carefree, darkened only by the constant absence of his father. At his coming-of-age ceremony, however, everything changes. For no reason that he can discern, he is cast into the prison known as the "Abyss", only to be saved by a "chain" known as Alice, the bloodstained black rabbit. The mystery there begins as Oz unravels the mystery behind Alice, the Abyss and the strange organization known as Pandora. The series features heavy references to Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass and can be considered both fantasy and mystery.

My opinion: this is one of the story which u have to watch every single episode in order to understand the whole story. all the facts and secrets are reveal little by little throughout the episodes. very interesting indeed (otherwise i wont recommend it to u), and as someone who really picky about the visual, this anime certainly suite my taste. the art is beautiful, the characters are awesomely created. and also for added points even the theme songs are excellent. opening theme is 'Parallel Hearts' by FictionJunction. and ending themes are 'Maze' and 'Watashi wo Mitsukete', both by Savage Genius. i also fall in love with the music box song, 'Lacie' that's featured in the story (music from the pocket watch found by Oz). Overall it's totally a great anime (listed in my top 5). Watch it and see for yourself.

Score: 4.5/5 (excellent series!)

enjoy!!
