Whaaa....Anime???

i'v been thingking on buying a new anime series DVD but i'm having problems picking the right series!! cause to tell yah the truth althought i'm a anime fanatic, some anime i bought that i thought is awsome in art, but I didn't like the story very much, can you help me?? give me some titles maybe!!!
