Maid dress
I went on a bit of a sewing streak in the last two weeks of June. I made three dresses (two of them are still incomplete and needs some ribbon/lace). This maid dress is one of them.

I did a closet (?) test for the dress I made and tried to take a photo to see what it looked like on me. Hahaha. Please never let me near cameras again (I think my Olympus Pen is too fancy for me to use... and it's been 2 years since I purchased it).

I made a dress!
I went to a suburb quite far away to meet up with some friends. The suburb sold really cheap fabric at only $2.5 per metre for plain cotton! I spent $8.75 for materials to make this dress.
This is an Alice-In-Wonderland inspired version of Yumi King's Front-to-Back Bustle dress. Even a n00bie like me could make it-- very easy and 10 out of 10 would recommend it as a beginner sewing project --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBzEWj_ltZc

I was looking through my old stuff. There's a few things I never posted lol. One of them is this handwriting meme.

What I've been up to these days...
It's really hard to say what I've been up to these days because even I don't know myself (terrible answer).
1.) I recently finished up my gap year and quit my job.
The people at work were so awesome-- especially the managing director and the manager. I mean, part of my job was to go to comic/ cosplay conventions... and I was really glad my manager didn't make me dress up as a Bandai girl to promote Gundam. He handed me a brand new HG RGZ-95 ReZEL Gundam and taught me how to airbrush. I think if I stayed another year he would have taught me how to spray a car lol. I also randomly appeared on NHK haha.
2.) Going back into my civilian disguise as a student next week!
I'm so nervous because I don't know anyone except for like the two people I briefly chatted to in my interview session who also passed:( I saw their name on the mailing list. Hello debt. And lots of studying and hard work. Goodbye social life.
3.) I've been super duper into skincare and trying to take care of my skin. Unfortunately, it backfired because I didn't know I would break out so badly from snail cream. I'm still trying to fade the scars from that little experiment orz. I discovered I actually really love makeup in 2013. I like drawing on my face D:
4.) EXO EXO EXO
Oh mahhhh goshhhh. I really need to stop. But I love them so much. Especially Baekhyun, but I do think he needs to stop talking so much. I also really like (in no particular order) Kris, Luhan, Kai, Sehun, D.O., Xiumin, Chen, Lay, Tao. I guess I'll also take Suho and Chanyeol because they "are one". Super duper devastated that they are going to be in Hong Kong in early March to do a fansign at Nature Republic. Why can't I be there?? Also, EXO Showtime needs to be a permanent thing. I'm still suffering from withdrawal symptoms.
5.) Anime
Gasai Yuno-chan is so cuteeee! I love yandere moe moe girls. It was an interesting concept but man, did they have to drag on the ending so much?
I also watched one season of Kimi Ni Todoke. It was cute, but three episodes into season 2 just made me rage. Too frustrating.
That's all the anime I watched for the entire year. I think I'm officially 5 -7 years behind in anime now haha.
6.) Sleep
Because I'm old and tired and I need sleep.
