It's really hard to say what I've been up to these days because even I don't know myself (terrible answer).
1.) I recently finished up my gap year and quit my job.
The people at work were so awesome-- especially the managing director and the manager. I mean, part of my job was to go to comic/ cosplay conventions... and I was really glad my manager didn't make me dress up as a Bandai girl to promote Gundam. He handed me a brand new HG RGZ-95 ReZEL Gundam and taught me how to airbrush. I think if I stayed another year he would have taught me how to spray a car lol. I also randomly appeared on NHK haha.
2.) Going back into my civilian disguise as a student next week!
I'm so nervous because I don't know anyone except for like the two people I briefly chatted to in my interview session who also passed:( I saw their name on the mailing list. Hello debt. And lots of studying and hard work. Goodbye social life.
3.) I've been super duper into skincare and trying to take care of my skin. Unfortunately, it back fired because I didn't know I would break out so badly from snail cream. I'm still trying to fade the scars from that little experiment orz. I discovered I actually really love makeup in 2013. I like drawing on my face D:
4.) EXO EXO EXO
Oh mahhhh goshhhh. I really need to stop. But I love them so much. Especially Baekhyun, but sometimes I do think he needs to stop talking so much. I also really like (in no particular order) Kris, Luhan, Kai, Sehun, D.O., Xiumin, Chen, Lay, Tao. I guess I'll also take Suho and Chanyeol because they are one. Super duper devastated that they are going to be in Hong Kong in early March to do a fansign at Nature Republic. Why can't I be there?? Also, EXO Showtime needs to be a permanent thing. I'm still suffering from withdrawal symptoms.
Gasai Yuno-chan is so cuteeee! I love yandere moe moe girls. It was an interesting concept but man, did they have to drag on the ending so much?
I also watched one season of Kimi Ni Todoke. It was cute, but three episodes into season 2 just made me rage. Too frustrating.
That's all the anime I watched for the entire year. I think I'm officially 5 -7 years behind in anime now haha.
Because I'm old and tired and I need sleep.
Will probably add a picture of the watermelon cake my friend took me to eat on Saturday. His treat because he was half an hour late:)
Have a good one~ <3
Hi guys~ haven't been on the internet a lot because I've been very tired recently. However, this week I feel I'm coming out of my slump although I'm still in my artblocked state. I haven't even watched any anime for over year-- I'm really behind in new stuff. Even Vocaloid:( Gahhh, I didn't go to Mini-Animania yesterday or Karaoke today because I simply didn't feel like it. The city is too far OTL.
This is the very first long artblock I've ever had. It's been more than a year and a half since I actually drew something (other times I've opened up old sketches and files to work on). Here's an old file that I was working on. 15385bic really inspired me to try and draw curls since October last year^^
But now that I actually have time to spare, I'd really like to get back into drawing, Vocaloid, and playing Touhou and Pokemon. I'm currently procrastinating on making my cosplay. I've cut out one piece of material for a skirt and I've done a fifth of the sewing for my vest haha. I still need to figure out how to do the buttons and the decorations...:/
I'm also going to post much more frequently on my blog now. So please visit for photo spams of my everyday life.
Have a fantastic week!
... the end is near, and I'm freaking out. I feel like my friends all know what they want to do after they graduate but I still don't.
Please tell me I'm not the only person who doesn't know what to do with life. Any advice?
Srsly. Just let me sleep--- I've been burning out this year. Two more weeks to go...
Time for my favourite photo spams
Yesterday, I went to the new-ish Daiso that opened up at Central. It was so much bigger than I imagined! I treated myself to some new lashes^^ You can't expect too much for $2.80 a pair, but they looked so purdyyyy.
My dad's friend's daughter got us a box of macarons from the new Laduree. THE SALTED CARAMEL ONE IS HEAVEN. HEAVEN I TELL YOU.
The American candy my friend ended up getting me for a souvenir ages and ages ago. She also got me a (pink) David and Goliath shirt. She knows I hate pink, but there was a funny story behind it. The Jolly Ranchers smelt so lovely. The normal ones were the best! The sour ones were a bit 'meh'. The texture didn't really do it for me. I loved the cherry, grape, and green apple flavours. The cherry Jolly Rancher lollipop/ sucker was also very delicious:DD
Got Tange Sakura-sensei's sign on my special edition final volume of CCS (she is the seiyuu of Kinomoto Sakura from CCS)~
Found a lot of my cosplay friends that day, but also missed many due to the size of the con. I still remember when it was at the Roundhouse at UNSW... so much more ghetto and doujin-style merchandise friendly.
Another highlight of the day: I met Namie-kun! She hugged me, and signed a tarot card she guested for Alice Overture last year T^T We both cosplayed Reimu haha (but I was Hagiwara Rin's "Gratitude" inspired blue version).
Look at the shoes I'm wearing. Then look again at Namie's height. And at my height. Either she's really tall or I'm really short :/
I saw Nu'est a few weeks ago. Pictures and post here:p
Voice meme done~! I recorded it on my phone^^b. It was fun! I should have actually prepared better answers, but oh well. Going with the flow is the best.
VOICE MEME HERE
(I'm not 100% sure the link works, but if it doesn't... tell me:)
It has now been deleted because I didn't want it to be lingering on the interwebs for too long :p
