Chapter Eleven: Erasing Memories

-Kuori-

I round housed the guy that came into the room and told the guard was with him to take Miyuki. He stumbled back and glared at me.

“You won’t get away with this.” He said “Guards seeze them!” More guards came running to his aid.

“Miyuki take it off NOW!” I ordered fighting the guards and now letting them get past me.

A bright light filled the room. When I woke up it was dark in the room.

“Don’t move.” I heard from above me.

I started into a coughing fit “Come on Miyuki…what you do think is going to happen?” I asked after I stopped coughing. I sat up and looked up at her.

“How did you know that I was being controlled.” She asked holding a piece of wood in front of my face.

“I can sense magic. And that charm that you found was magic. By you putting it on it sent both of us to its world. Some items and painting have enough power to draw someone to them and make them do what they want them to do.” I explained and turned my head and coughed a bit.

“What’s wrong with you?” She asked.

“I’m sick, don’t worry you won’t catch it if that’s what you’re wondering.” I sighed and stood up brushing off my shirt and pants.

“That’s strange…” She said.

“What’s strange?” I muttered.

“You’re eyes are ice blue today. And I have a friend that’s sick…well I think that he’s my friend…” She stated.

“Miyuki, if you think that your friend is mad at you then why don’t you talk to him or her and ask them yourself if they’re mad.” I offered.

“But he just blew up on me after I said such nice things to him. I told him that he didn’t have a dark side.” Miyuki looked down at the ground.

I pushed the board aside. “Miyuki everyone has a dark side to them. For example If you keep hitting your friend you know as a joke but he doesn’t think it’s a joke after the third or fourth time that you’ve done it. Don’t you think that you friend would be a bit mad at you and say something to you to make you feel bad?” I asked.

“I…never thought of it that way….” She said.

”Then just forget.” I whispered in her ear and hit her pressure point on her neck. I caught her before she fell and I got her onto my back then picked up my bag. Then I went out to my motorcycle and set her on the seat first then got on. I went back to my house and parked the bike then took her to her house and jumped up into her window with ease then set her in her bed. I placed two fingers on her forehead and made her forget the fight that we had earlier and about what just happened. Then I went and erased the part of her parents memories of when she left the house and went back home.

“I’m home.” I sighed handing mom my bag and taking off my shoes. “Can I go to bed now?” I asked.

“Yea, night son.” My mom said kissing my cheek then I went back to my room and turned on my alarm clock and clonked out once my head hit the pillow.

I woke up to my alarm clock and shut it off. I didn’t get up, I felt worse then I did last night. “I’m not getting up.” I muttered to my self with my face in the pillow. I moved my head and looked at my watch. I knew that I didn’t change from last night and I really didn’t want to I was comfortable. I fell back asleep and my phone going off woke me up. I flipped it open and saw that it was a text message from Miyuki.

Where are you?

I’m in bed.

Why?

I don’t feel good.

I’m coming in! I heard footsteps coming down the hall and then my door slammed open.
