Today we went through discussing what needs to be revised. Ohhh boy ._. It was more than I was anticipating... and more thought and decision making than I predicted, too.
And yeah, we definitely need to treat ourselves once in a while. Otherwise things just seem stale, you know?

GAH I wish I could actually highfive you!!! But definitely, you deserve to have a break too :) I find that when I get free time and I'm lazy, its harder to get started again... but oh well, sometimes I need to spoil myself xD
That is great work, I can't stop saying how awesome that accomplishment is!
Oh thats really good that Citrus will be helping you revise it if needed! He definitely sounds qualified for the job ;)
Aw, thanks ^_^ Yeah, still just leftover coughing, but I'm definitely feeling better.
And I know what you mean about wanting to laze around... I just finished my novel draft today (!!! X3) and want to do the same thing.
So now is the revision process, which Citrus is helping me with (he's on spring break this week as it is, and he's a fast reader :3 Who is an English creative writing major, so he definitely knows a thing or two about writing... heck, he's a really amazing writer in his own right. He needs to publish his stuff because it's seriously good :D). Hopefully I won't have to rewrite too much ._.
Ugh not nice :( Sorry to hear that! I hope its over for good now! I just had a tiring week with work and felt like doing nothing most of the weekend but sleeping or being lazy but I still might be getting over that cold. Rest and vitamins are important :) and prayer of course, so I'll pray for u <3
Yeah for sure, I think you're right. Gah that is so exciting!!!!!!!!!! I'm so proud and happy for you!!!! I've been wanting to do a story or manga sometime, but I feel like I've already failed at it.. So many unfinished plots D: I feel bad everytime I dont finish something that I started too.
Yeah, we're feeling better. Last week, the flu knocked us all down >_< But thankfully my fever left a week ago, so I've been feeling much better (still coughing, but I've been told it'll linger for a few weeks).
Neat :D I'm actually still debating whether to go the self-publishing route or just look for an agent... if I want to make a living out of this, it'd probably be better to just do the latter. On the plus side, I'm in the final battle with the villain right now, so all that's left is to continue and wrap up the fight, and add the pieces of the ending :D I'm so close to finishing this first draft!! XD Then I've got to revise... but hey, at least it'll be a finished draft! :D
Oh no :( I hate when a sickness shows up and then spreads throughout the family =_= I just got over a bad sinus cold that my sister had, and then I watch the rest of my family get it too :( I hope you are both feeling better now! (you better be cuz I haven't been around here for a while... sorry for my super late reply!)
Awesome!!!! Yeah I know someone who published a book 'Paper Shackles' on Amazon and I'm not sure how her sales are going, but it looks like a neat idea. I totally would love to read your book when you publish it!!
LOL thats interesting!! I never got to try it out so I'll do it now!
A-heh, well... "well" being a relative term right now... he's down for the count with the flu at the moment >_< There seems to be something going around. I'm pretty sure I've already got it (given that we spend so much time together), but it seems to be taking its sweet time in showing up.
Ah, yes, I do plan to publish it. As to whether or not it would be traditional publishing vs. self-publishing through Amazon, well... I'll have to wait and see on that. On the one hand, self-publishing is quicker, but on the other hand, if I don't have enough advertising, then I'm not going to sell as many copies or make as much as I could otherwise... this is something I'd like to be able to make at least a bit of a living on.
Yeah, the real quizzes are better. The one on CatholicMatch uses the "four humors" personality matrix; you end up as a combination of two types (sanguine, choleric, phlegmatic, and melancholic). I was surprised to find out my combination, but when I read the descriptor, I was like, "Hmmm... yep, that's definitely me." XD
Ah I can relate with being busy! Glad to hear you are both well! And that is such a huge accomplishment, omigoodness! Do you have plans to publish? I bet its an amazing story!
LOL funny you mention that, I took an iPersonality test the other day... And it was very intriguing! Usually some of those tests are flops, but I definitely like the accurate ones. I shall do more research into that!
Been doing all right; Citrus has been doing well, too (busy with schoolwork and all). As for me, still working part-time, but my first novel (the one that comes before my NaNoWriMo novel), I'm at 49,000+ words now and getting closer to the climax and ending :D My New Year's resolution was to finish that novel as it is, so yay! :D
BTW, it's interesting what you find out about yourself with the personality profile quizzes on dating sites (took one on CatholicMatch recently and was fairly surprised by the results).
