I just completed the art for a new episode of Carrot Orange Sun!
It was hard work, but I hope you all enjoy it.
This time is pretty exciting...
I don't want to give too much away, but,
there's a new character!
The episode is up here for anyone who wants to or hasn't read it yet.
If you're visiting here for the first time, please take a look. ^^
Comments and feedback is so much appreciated. Thank you so much to everyone who has been supporting me, and for your kind words about my art! ^///^
This month, Yosuke's become a bit reckless!
I actually think drawing this episode has been the most fun so far, even though it was hard. Kotomi is the responsible and sensible type, so it was interesting to see her get dragged into a little adventure by Yosuke. Since there was a lot of action and movement in the opening of this episode, I decided to use manga-style panels on the opening illustration because I thought one picture would be too static. I don't know if it worked, but if you're reading, let me know what you think. Should I draw this way more often in the future?

So...just where is Yosuke taking Kotomi anyway??
Episode 5-B!
Hi there!
Well, this is my first post. I guess I created this page to share the world of Carrot Orange Sun with you all.
I began illustrating this story last September when it was first published on musicJAPANplus...those of you familiar with the Japanese music scene will know all about their work. Right now they're striving to bridge the gaps between fans and artists by breaking culture and language barriers, and they're doing a pretty good job. ^^ This story also ties in with that, I think. It's translated from Japanese, written by novellist and lyricist Mio Aoyama, and takes readers on a journey all over Japan's landscape, from the mountains of Hokkaido to the bars of Shibuya. Drawing this story has been a challenge for me. Each episode, I'm faced with with drawing things and places I've never been to or wouldn't normally draw of my own accord, so it's almost like sightseeing along with the characters. It's hard work, but I'm loving every minute of it. Anyone who reads, and happens to follow this story, I hope you'll enjoy it too!
Please, through messages or comments, let me know your thoughts!
until next time,
Black Pearl xxx
