Generation Dead Review

sorry that i haven't done a book review in so long! i kinda forgot *nervous laughter*

All across America something strange is occuring.... some teenagers who have died aren't staying dead! Some are coming back as real undead zombies! Ready to run away screaming about your brain? Hold it! These zombies don't want to kill you! In fact, they want quite the opposite, they just want to fit in like any other normal teenager. But as we all know, most people don't accept what they have deemed as "different". Though very few things set these undead teens from the living ones (aside from the fact that they're dead!)
In this book you'll have the points of veiw from Pheobe, the goth girl who accepts the undead for who they are, Adam, Pheobe's neighbor and childhood friend who has a few issues of his own, Margi, Pheobe and Adam's outgoing friend who feels incredibly uneasy about befriending those who no lnger have a beating heart, and last but not least Pete, the terrifying school bully who will stop at nothing to stop the fraternization of the living and the dead.
Along the way you'll meet some other characters such as Karen and Tommy.

Rated: T for some mild language and (a tiny little, but i feel i should maybe mention it) graphic description(s?)

1 to 10 scale: 8.3

reviewr's note: to those of you who read this, there is a website mentioned in the book, the website is real and you can read the "Blogs". and the sequel to this book has just recently been released. It's entitled Generation Dead: Kiss of Life.

Beauty Pop Review

I can't believe I didn't do a review for Beauty Pop yet! Oh well... here goes.

Kiri is the typical "invisible girl". Quiet, reserved, average looks, average grades. Not the type you would give a second look... Until she asks if you'd like a bit of magic! But her magic isn't everyday magic, she is able to give you a makeover hairstyle that will take your breath away! She only bestows her talent upon the truely worthy. Mainly those who want more confdence and who want to feel beautiful. The Scissor's Project (SP for short) have something a little different in mind. Though they have good intentions they only choose to makeover those who are already deemed "pretty". Watch as the story unfolds with contests, akward teen emotions and humorous predicaments in Beauty Pop

Rated: Y-T (is suitable for a younger audience)

1 to 10 scale: 9.3

Chocolat (Manhwa) Review

Ok I first read Chocolat when I was in 8th grade and I got addicted to the candy sweet story!

Kum-Ji Hwang is just a normal obsessive fangirl of her favorite band, DDL, not a club member and not a "Big Sister". But up-and-coming band Yo-I is recruiting members and Kum-Ji signs up as a Club Officer in a hope to meet her super popular idols (DDL) but what happens when the uber hott Yo-I singer, E-Soh discovers her secret and threatens to tell if she doesn't become one of his slaves!?!?!?!? Will the devilishly hott E-Soh prevail with his villianous ways or Kum-Ji with her "normal-girl tactics"? READ TO FIND OUT!!!!

Rated: T for some mild language
1 to 10 scale: 8.7

This book is by the amazing Yuu Watase. It starts off in an ordinary school setting with a lovestruck teenage girl (Alice), and a pesky older sister who seems perfect (Mayura). Young Alice has always wanted a pet, being a big animal lover, but because of Mayura's allergies she has never had one. Then walking to school one day she saves a little white bunny from being squished by oncoming traffic, only finding herself needing to be saved by the handsome Kyo ! Later on the rabbit is revealed to be a Rabbit girl (?) who is a guid for users of the Lotis Words! Is Alice really a magical word user?!?! Find out by reading Alice 19th Volume One!!!!

Rated: T+ For Nudity, Violence and mild language!

On the 1 to 10 scale: 8
