MACHINES POWERED BY EVIL MAGIC!

What you are about to see is a log detailing the development of a deck that can successfully utilize the powerful Yu-Gi-Oh! Card Game card known as The Seal of Orichalcos. Some of the details in the following log entries may be omitted for the privacy of the creator or other reasons.

INFORMATION ON THE SEAL OF ORICHALCOS

The Seal of Orichalcos is a Field Spell card that played a major plot device in the anime exclusive story arc from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! saga known as Waking the Dragons (Doma Arc in Japan). In addition to providing the user with tremendous advantages in a duel, the card was also depicted as being able to seal the soul of the loser and corrupt the duelist using it. While one of the anime’s most iconic cards, the Seal was never made into a real card outside of a special Upper Deck event. That is until late 2012 when the card was released as part of the Legendary Collection 3 set.

PROJECT ATLANTIS DECK

  • DECK TYPE: Machina Gadget
  • CARDS IN DECK: 40
  • EXTRA DECK: None
  • ADDITIONAL INFO: The Machina Gadget deck was chosen as the deck type due to its ability to function without an Extra Deck, the use of which the Seal prevents.

DECK CREATOR

  • REAL NAME: CLASSIFIED
  • OTHER ACTIVE DECKS: Legendary Six Samurai deck, Crystal Beast deck, Dark World deck (still in progress)
  • ADDITIONAL INFO: Has been a fan of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Franchise since almost the beginning, and has followed the franchise all the way through 5D’s. Since the start of ZEXAL however, has only dabbled in the card game due to a lack of originality in the anime and frustration over going through hundreds of booster packs to find just one card.

To get over some writer’s block, a slight headache, and a back that got a little screwed up because I bended it in a way that God did not intend for it to bend, I decided to go ahead and run some more practice duels. They went well, adding ...

So yesterday I decided to just break down and get a new tin, mainly because I had this pile of cards that was just sitting out on a table for months. And I really didn’t want that pile to sit there any longer because one of those days it pr...

I just ran those two practices duels this morning. This time I had decided to test the deck out against that Dragons Collide deck I only got to experiment with. You know, to me there hasn’t been a good out-of-the-box Dragon Structure Deck ...
