I guess people just don't learn about other cultures or religions anymore. Like I hear stuff about how Catholics supposedly "worship" the Virgin Mary (we just ask her to tell Jesus "what up? can you do me a favor? :3" XD) Sad, sad times... he tried to convert you? LOL And that girl that you were in the FLDS? D< What a stupid girl. D:
yeah, it's one that I don't update very often for lack of actual questions to the world; been gleaning off IRL experiences for a while to update this one now actually. ^^;
it is a bit sad, but sadly that's the same argument my biological father has tried using to convert me to Protestantism, only he said that's how the church was in the early days. So it's not entirely surprising; weird that people still think that, but not as uncommon as you'd think. What did throw me off though was when someone in my English class last year found out I was LDS and asked me about it as though I were a polygamist. D:
It's good of you to clear up misconceptions. Didn't know you made this world (where was I?) But I do like it as I myself would like to know more about Mormons. Although I knew this one already, yes you guys worship the same God the rest of us Christians do. *laughs*
