Oh by the way I was reading Acts and I did indeed find the passage that says the whole Unknown god thing. It's worded only slightly different in my Bible. (Which is also a King James version) But that passage is indeed there.
I knew it was there; I just said in comment to your post that it seemed worded differently and made the comparison to the KJV because a lot of Christians I know outside the Church read the NIV (or at least the people in my biological dad's church did)
About the gods part, well a whole other group that follows Christian mysticism believe that our goal should be theosis which is basically becoming a god. So they believe quite literally that like him means a god like him.

Ohhh, I wondered about that myself, and knew a little bit about that, but not as much as I wanted to. :D Good to know. ;D
Hmmm... so like certain relationships (meaning like marriage or whatever) are still in effect in eternity (well, with certain conditions) according to the Book of Mormon? That's interesting since the Catholic Church teaches that in heaven marriage does not exist, meaning we are not bound by it any longer, which is one of the reasons (the Church believes) Jesus was not married, and is why priests, monks and nuns aren't married, as a sign of how marriage is not in effect in heaven. There are many other reasons behind abstinence, but that's just one of them. Intereseting how there are these differences in Christiandom. Cool.
