Rukia had been so sad lately, she had recently been reminded of Kian, due to someone being spitefull, it was raining sheets outside, he heard Rukia sigh in content from the open closet, and watched her leap down, "I'm going to go get a candy bar," she said dully, oh yeah, she had robbed him of all the choclate she could find recently, he got up and walked over to the closet, glancing at the cover of her book, it was, again, a shojo manga, this one had a picture a couple kissing in the rain on it, that ideah (kissing in the rain) was absolutely, the dumbest, cheesiest, stupidest.... most brilliant ideah in the world! That book just gave him an ideah, he smiled to himself, just as Rukia walked in, (licking the choclate from the corner of her mouth as she did,) "Wat are you doing?" she inquired, "Looking at your stupid book, kissing in the rain is a really stupid, cheesy ideah ya' no?" "So? I like it," "Aparently! Well, come on," he took her hand in his, "Were are we going?" "You'll see," he smirked, dragging her with him,
"Ichigo? Why are we standing in the rain? Bare foot no less," (they weren't wearing socks) Ichigo chuckled lightly, "You'll see," "Stop saying that! It's annoying!" he chuckled again, "Yeah, and so are you, wat's your point?" he could see Rukia getting frustrated, it was amuseing to watch her little nose wrinkle, her big eyes squint tight, and her little mouth press into a line, she was simply adorable! She huffed, he watched her as the rain soaked through her and felt it soak through him as well, "Why are we just standing here?!" she snipped, Ichigo shrugged, "The people in your book were standingin the rain," "Yes! In a moment of passion! Kissing! Locked in a finalized instant of love! Not just standing there doing nothing!" She was standing on her tippy toes and trying to look him in the eyes, it wasn't working, he looked at her, her face was scrunched up cutely, a nearby car had it's radio on and turned up, the song "One Way Or Another" started playing and Ichigo grinned slyly,and tapped on Rukia's shoulder playfully, "Tag, you're it," "Newsflash, you're an idiot," she replied, "Come on! Play tag with me!" Rukia rolled her eyes, but this irristably adorable side of Ichigo that was comeing out was too much to resist and she started running after him! He missed her hand just barely as he took off down the road, he turned around wen she tripped him and grabbed his shoulder, makeing sure that he didn't fall but that she DID tag him, she ran in the direction that he had turned in and he chased after her, both of them smileing and laughing like children, other songs like that one played, includeing, "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" "Walking On Sunshine" and "Do You Believe In Magic" finally they both ran out of steam and found themselves infront of the clinc were they started, "This was a REALLY stupid ideah," Rukia giggled, catching her breath, "Yeah, I no, fun wasn't it?" "YEAH!" Ichigo grinned, things calmed down after a moment, Rukia and Ichigo stood there for a moment, simply looking at eachother, "Why did you do this?" Rukia asked, smileing, her clothes were soaking wet and clinging to her wet skin, his were doing the same, they didn't care, "Because," he started, as the song "My Heart Will Go On" started playing on the old car radio, "I don't like seeing you sad, Rukia, I wanted you to be happy again," Rukia's smile became deeper, Rukia took Ichigo's hand and placed it around her waist, drappeing the other around her shoulders, and swaying slowly, he danced wth her, "I love this song," Rukia wispered, her face inches from his, "Yeah, me too," he wispered back, he leaned down and she leaned up, their noses touched, they smiled, and her lips touched his, they kissed for wat seemed like forever, mouths moveing against eachother, they clung to eachother like their wet clotheing clung to them, the song seemed to continue forever, they not only didn't mind, they hoped it would never end, finally they unwilling let go of the moment of passion, "Is that why people stand in the rain?" Ichigo wispered, and Rukia couldn't stop a broad smile from playing across her face, "Yes," she wispered, both arms around her, he kissed her cheek gently, moveing to wisper in her ear, "Rukia, I love you, my heart is staying right here, with you, forever," Rukia bit her lip, that was sweeter than she had ever imagined it could be, it was all sweeter than a million pounds of choclate, and it meshed together perfectly with the slightly salty taste of the rain on her lips, she rested her head on his shoulder, gripping even tighter onto her hands wich entangled around his neck, "I love you too Ichigo, forever and for always, you have my heart, and everything else," they looked at eachother and started kissing again, as the sng ended, letting the rain pour
