Hello and welcome to MangaKid and Ikemarth's Artist Cubby!
We hope you all enjoy your time here!

This is a world Ikemarth and I have created after our dear friend Angel Satina gave us this great idea! We wanted to create a place for artists to share their methods, experiences, tips/advice, ect. Its like a club in a community where artist friends can join even closer together^^ We will be posting anything such as our own step-by-step process of creating art, tutorials, art notices/progress, cool artistic videos, before and after pics of artwork, and simple tips as well as answer any questions that you post or have! We hope everyone, including us, will learn new artistic ways and become even more creative together as we experience each others' style. For new artists, we hope to help inspire you and motivate you to continue drawing!

-We'd like you all to shorten your posts to new pages but you DO NOT have to shorten your profiles. Please post your profiles normally. We want the other posts to be shortened though as it'll be a lot more organized that way.
-You can post a chibi at the top of your posts if you'd like, but please make sure its small (approx. 300x300 pixels. A bit bigger then that is alright too.)
-No putting down anyone or making them feel uncomfortable (of course, we're all good friends here so I don't think we need to worry about this^^)

Artist Profile: Keba Si Rota

Hey people. Call me Keba, 'cause "Si Rota" is my last name... er... names. And calling addressing by their first and last name is kind of weird. Unless you're addressing Charlie Brown. Then it's OK.

Country: U.S.A.
Age (as of July 2012): 26

Anime/Manga:Instead of typing out my ever-growing list, I'll link to my Anime-Planet profile. You can view my anime list and my manga list, too.
Favorite genres: Action/adventure, sci-fi/fantasy, comedy (although most of the Japanese jokes go over my head).

Video games: I don't really play video games anymore. I'm still a Pokemon fan even though I haven't played the games since Generation II.

Music (I had to add this): I'm mostly into rock, but I'll listen to other stuff, too. My favorite bands/artists are Bon Jovi (betcha couldn't tell by my Fan Art Portfolio), the Goo Goo Dolls, Aerosmith, Linkin Park, SR-71, Green Day, 3 Doors Down, P!nk, Black Lab, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Damone, Vertical Horizon, the Calling, Sarah McLachlan, Tonic, Greenwheel, Rise Against, and Injected. ~~I have almost no taste 'cause I still listen to the stuff I fell in love with at age 17.~~

Art style: Traditional and some digital
Favorite tools: Sketch/drawing paper, 2B pencil, eraser (doesn't get enough credit), colored pencils, and ink pens.

About me: I've been drawing pretty much as far back as I can remember, but didn't take formal lessons until I was 14. I've always been into cartoons, and I got into anime at age 13 with the poorly-dubbed version of Sailor Moon (still have a soft spot for that series). I started drawing anime characters since about that time, too. Since then, I've been trying to perfect my style. I have a ways to go, but I also think I've come a long way, too. I like to think that I have a ~~great American~~ manga within me, but I don't think I'm yet at the level to execute it yet.

Other things that I like to do are write original stories (and draw the characters), sing, play guitar, write songs, knit, spend time online, read manga, and listen to music.

My ultimate dream is to be a musician. I still need a band, though.
