Hello and welcome to MangaKid and Ikemarth's Artist Cubby!
We hope you all enjoy your time here!

This is a world Ikemarth and I have created after our dear friend Angel Satina gave us this great idea! We wanted to create a place for artists to share their methods, experiences, tips/advice, ect. Its like a club in a community where artist friends can join even closer together^^ We will be posting anything such as our own step-by-step process of creating art, tutorials, art notices/progress, cool artistic videos, before and after pics of artwork, and simple tips as well as answer any questions that you post or have! We hope everyone, including us, will learn new artistic ways and become even more creative together as we experience each others' style. For new artists, we hope to help inspire you and motivate you to continue drawing!

If you have any questions, feel free to PM MangaKid or Ikemarth! We are accepting guest posters, if you feel that you'd like to join and share your tips with the Otaku!

Rules+Guidlines: -Nothing inapropriate.
-We'd like you all to shorten your posts to new pages but you DO NOT have to shorten your profiles. Please post your profiles normally. We want the other posts to be shortened though as it'll be a lot more organized that way.
-You can post a chibi at the top of your posts if you'd like, but please make sure its small (approx. 300x300 pixels. A bit bigger then that is alright too.)
-No putting down anyone or making them feel uncomfortable (of course, we're all good friends here so I don't think we need to worry about this^^)

Age: 13 (omg, I feel so young compared to everyone on theO... and that's not a good thing!) [2013]
Occupation: Student (almost a high-schooler, yush!~)

Art Tools/Style: I'm ya digital girl. I mean, yes, I used to scan traditional drawings and make them look digital through SAI, but not anymore really. I'm saving up money so maybe, if me and chocopanda12 put our money together, and our parents' money, we might buy a 72-set COPIC set!~ chocopanda12 already has COPIC ciaos, and she lets me borrow them, if I let her borrow my tablet, but it's not enough you know?
So yeah, I do have a tablet (NOT WACOM).
Oh, and history! I started with colored pencils and ended up realizing something -- I SUCK AT COLORING. So I tried something called (I think) PhotoStudio 05 (really old, it was on our OLD family computer) and it got me interested in digital art. I have a friend on deviantArt, EternaIMoonz, and she told me about SAI, so I downloaded that free (hehe x) ) and I can't get away from it. Well, that wraps that up.

Other: I really love to sing, I play piano and I own a guitar that I have no idea what to do with it since it's missing a string, and chatting with my friends (chocopanda12, x MILI x, lemoncakegirl) at lunch is just so funny because we love to talk about random crap. I can't wait to do something PRODUCTIVE on Artist Cubby!~ x) Thankz again, MangaKid (Jen) for letting me be a part of this!

Mediums-Open Discussion

I was thinking about this recently and found that I am most attracted to art that is a digital painting, a watercolour, and sketches (pencil and pen). Of course, all art in different mediums can be beautiful too, but those three mediums are my most favourite to see in other artworks when they are used well x)

What medium(s) do you enjoy seeing the most in other artworks? and what medium are you most comfortable using yourself?
