Missing
This day started out just like ant other but it ended like no other, but i don't want to get ahead of myself so lets start at the beginning. It was early in the morning the sun light flows in through the small crack in my bedrooms curtains the light hits me straight in my eyes. I wake up rub my eyes squint and let my eyes adjust to the light turn my bedroom light's on change out of my pajamas into my school uniform. Head down stairs eat some breakfast and out of the corner of my eye the news paper head line catches my eye "Missing girl still not found. Police have no new leads on who kidnapped Sarah Madison" I go back up stairs brush my teeth and I'm out the door. I start my walk to school still like any other day, but when i start walking through the ally way that's when it all happened. A tall man walks out in front of me and hits me over the head with a wooden baseball bat as I fall to the ground he hits me again and I lose consciousness. When I wake up I'm tied up and I see another kid about my age also tied up a girl.
"Whats going on, where am I"
"Your tied up, I don't know where you are"
"Whats going on"
"You've been kidnapped"
"What! that can't be true why would anybody want to kidnap me"
"The same reason this person wanted to kidnap me no reason at all"
"Who are you any way"
"Sarah Madison"
"Your the girl form the paper that all the police are looking for, how long have you been here"
"I don't no about four days, whats your name"
"Logan Andrews"
"Well Logan it looks like we're going to be here for a while"
"How are we going to get out of here"
"We wont"
"What how can you say that I don't want to die here"
"Neither do I but I don't see a way out"
Just than the tall man walked in tossed something to each of us and walked out.
"What is this"
"Food"
I looked at what he had given me to eat, it smelled horrible and looked even grosser than it smelled. It was just a bowl of slop. I looked over at Sarah and she was eating hers like she didn't anything for days which I know is possible.
"If you don't want it I'll take it"
I slid my bowl of slop over to her and she ate this one just as quickly. I fell asleep and when I woke up the man was in the room again walking over to Sarah, she crawled over to the corner and told him to stay away. I threw one of the bowls at him and yelled at him to stay away from her. The bowl him in the back, he turned around walked over to me hit me again a few times and walked out of the room. I lay there for a few minutes bleeding and in pain wondering why I felt like I had to protect Sarah.
"Thank you for helping me"
When she said that I new that the police were not going to find us and that I wood have to be the one to save me and Sarah.
"What was he going to do to you"
"It's not what you think"
"Are you sure about that he looked like he was going to"
"He doesn't do that"
"Well than what was he going to do than"
"Can we just talk about something else"
"You look tired you should try to get some sleep"
"No im not going to sleep what if he comes back in here"
"Than I'll wake you up"
She fell asleep pretty fast I'm guessing that she doesn't sleep vary much because shes to afraid of him walking in here when shes not awake. She woke up a few hours later and thanked me for watching out for her while she slept. Just than the man walked back in he walked back over to Sarah I told him to stay away from her again but this time he didn't even look at me he just untied Sarah and took her out of the room I yelled at him where are u taking her but he just left with out a word. I tried to untied the rope but it was to tight I tried to rip it tear it but nothing would work. I just fell over feeling helpless I was laying there for about 40 minutes before I realized the bowl was still in the room I could break it and find Sarah and get us both out of here. I reached for it but it was to far it was just a few inches out of my reach. As i tried to grab the bowl I heard Sarah scream. I untied my shoe tossed the tip of it at the bowl I missed and just hit it away further so I unlaced it a few rows and tried again, I missed again but hit it a little closer on my third try it got the tip of my shoe into the bowl pulled it in grabbed it and than broke it. I grabbed the biggest piece I could cut the rope and ran for the door. I opened it quietly looked around the corner nobody was there so i ran through the hallway looking for Sarah and I looked over and saw the baseball bat he used to knock me out I grab it and keep looking. I heard Sarah scream again just at the end of the hallway I ran down to the room I heard it from as fast as i could looked through the small opening in the door and saw Sarah and the man. I opened the door as fast as I could hit the man with the baseball bat as hard a I could in the back of the head he fell to the floor I took the chance untied Sarah helped her up and ran out of the room looking for a way out I heard a noise from behind us looked back and saw that the man was gone, looked back and kept trying to find away out Sarah said over there pointing at a door that had light coming in through the bottom we ran for the door opened it and saw sun light coming in through the top of the ladder I told Sarah to go first and I'll be rite behind her. Sarah started to climb and I was a few rungs behind her we climbed out but saw the man standing there he got out here before us from a different way out. I threw the bat at him not knowing what else to do I hit him in the stomach we ran away to the street and saw a police car drive by we yelled for help and just as they saw us realized who Sarah was they got out and ran over to us asking if we were ok and just as we both said yes I felt a fast prick in my back I looked down and saw an arrow sticking out through the left side of my chest and told them to get Sarah out of here and as I fell I was dead before I hit the ground.
I saw a vary bright light wondering if i was in heaven I heard a voice say please just wake up I looked around and saw Sarah and my parents in a room all crying I asked them what happened and they all looked at me and said he's alive they all came over to me asking if I was ok I asked where i was and my mom said I was in the hospital because i got shot in the back with an arrow but it didn't hit any major organs. Sarah asked if she could have a few minutes alone with me so they left the room.
"How long have I been out"
"Three days, why did you come back for me you could have just left and been alright"
"Because I couldn't just leave you there I had to help you"
"Know you didn't but you did anyway"
"What happened to the man"
"After he shot you the police shot him and he died right there"
"Are you ok Sarah"
"Yes I am thanks to you Logan Andrews"
