The Wallflower - Anime Review

A suggested anime made by Xxpicklejuice01xX! Because she gave me the Japanese title of this show, the whole time I was watching this episode I was thinking "Wow, this seems extremely alike to the Wallflower", which is a show I've heard of a bit before. And it turns out it was the Wallflower. Failure. xDD Anyways, enjoy the reviews! And requests/suggestions are welcomed!

Plot Summary
- Kyouhei, Ranmaru, Takenaga, and Yukinojou are beautiful, handsome, young men living in a huge mansion. One day, their landlord, whom they call "Auntie", asks them a favor: to make her niece, Sunako, who's going to be living with them, into a respectable young lady. She agrees to make their living expenses free of charge if they succeed, but if they fail, she'll triple their rent. Due to their confidence in knowing how to deal with women, they agree, but once they meet Sunako, they begin to realize that their lovely living arrangements may soon be in jeopardy.

My First Impression - The number one thing that threw me off with this show was probably the drawings. The guys in this series seem extremely girlish-looking, due to the fact that... They actually have lips! (in most animes, not even the girls have lips unless they are wearing lipstick!) So, the drawings were a bit on the weird side. But other than that, this seems like your average reverse harem... with a twist. I really like the plot of this show; how they are trying to turn this seemingly scary girl into a magnificent young lady. So I can definitely see this series going somewhere later on. There was some comedy in there, which was very funny, and I see the romance in there as well. All in all, it was a pretty good first episode, and I'm sure I'll get used to the drawings and like the series even more later on!
