The Loner

The loner.
That guy who wants to be alone.
He's got a mission... And it's always to kill someone else or avenge someone for a wrongful death.
He has to do it before he dies.
He can't die until he has fulfilled his mission.
He wants hardly anything to do with any other person on the show and he can usually kick your ass.
Fortunately, he figures out that he actually can get along with someone... and that someone is usually always the main character.

Famous example: Sasuke Uchiha

Other examples:

*Kanda Yuu- D. Grayman
*Haseo from .hack//G.U (during a time... he was PMSing)
*Hiei from YuYu Hakusho

Do you know any others?

"The Fox Face"

The fox face.
You know what I'm talking about.
Also known as "cara de lobo" in Spanish, lol, it's when an anime character has closed or slitted eyes and is always smiling like a sly fox.
They're supposed to be mysterious since they're always smiling. You can't tell whether they're actually happy or if they is something evil behind that expression.
The most famous example I can think of is Gin Ichimaru from BLEACH.

Other examples:
*Nekoyashiki Ren from Rental Magica
*Ian from MAR (Marchen Awakens Romance)
*Lloyd Asplund from Code Geass (although his eyes are squinted most times..)
*Hisoka from HunterxHunter (more in the manga than in the anime though)

Do you know any others?

Another one from moi! ^^ (can't remember where were up to)

Okay, here's one i find amazingly annoying!
Why is it, that the majority of the women in anime have humongus boobs and dinky bodies?!
Are they all on steroids?!
Well... That is, it's normally the mojority of anime girls which have massive boobs, for example in like... Goshyusho-sama Ninomiya-Kun, the pink haired girl or like... Dragonaut.
Why make them all have huge boobs just for fanservice or comady?
I just find it weird but meh...
And the majority of em are flirtitious or "secretly in love with the main character but shhh! we're not supposed to know that!" ya know?!

Anyyyway :)
Yeah, that's it haha! XDXDXD

hari kazu roku (post number six) ^^

Hai! It's japanese lulzie! (this one's more of a secret about anime lol)
Okay, enough rubbish lol! This one's pretty complex actually XD (eep!)
Right, now i'm sure everyone's aware that most animes follow some sort of religious theme? Well, i was incredibly surprised when i found this one...

108

Why? Well, i was considering adding how all the preist(ish) people had beads and was gunna use Kantarou from Tactics, And Anna from Shaman King, when i recalled Anna calling them 1080 beads. So i was curious and wanted to search for reasons why she says that. Well, when i started searching i was really surprised when i found this.

The number 108 is Buddist. And resembles the temptations humans face.
In Japan, on the new year, a bell is rung 108 times.
It appears in a chinese fairy tale where a fairy can travel 108,000 li in one summersault. (fairy tale's called Journey to the west)
Again, in Buddism, it's the number of beads on a o-juzu/rosery.
In Japan, a classic pilgramige consists of 108 temple visits.
Also, it's 2 to the second power times 3 to the third power, and 2 and 3 are the first prime numbers!

Freaky huh?
There's more: (yes i was interested and researched ALOT - so shoot me...)

-The Bleach manga went into a random Back Story arc that explained why everything happens in the Bleach universe. These chapters are in negative numbers, and are titled "Back to the Pendulum". The chapter numbers count up until this arc ends with a total of 108 chapters.

-The Death Note manga was deliberately paced so as to have 108 chapters.

-The Pokemon Spiritomb is listed as number 108 in the Sinnoh Pokédex, weighs 108 kg, is said to have been formed by 108 spirits, and its base Defense and Special Defense are both 108.

-Final Fantasy Tactics The accessory 108 Beads would prevent most, but not all, status effects.

In the 21st episode of Ouran High School Host Club, Haruhi gives her class representative, who is afraid of "dark places, horror movies, ghost storytelling, getting scared from behind, and commercials for horror movies" a book entitled "108 Ways to Get Through Scary Situations".

EVEN LOST!
- The lottery numbers add up to 108, the numbers have to be entered into the machine in the complex every 108 minutes, and more than a few other appearances. Unsurprising given the Buddhist references surrounding the DHARMA Initiative...
Also, while Desmond is on the island entering the numbers every 108 minutes, Penny (Penelope) is home waiting for him. In The Odyssey, Penelope refuses 108 suitors while Odysseus is lost.

SO WHAT ABOUT SHAMAN KING!???! (the original point)
Shaman King has a magic rosary called The 1080, because it contains 1080 beads. Also, the Nakaoni ("Medium demon") is formed by 108 onis, and the Oh-oni ("Big demon") is formed by 1080! (cool!! ...maybe it's just me...)

So there you have it!! Try and find more! I'm pooped after looking... but it was really interesting finding all that out! ^^
I bet not many of you knew all that huh?! :)

*is beaming*
Okaiii i'll go now! XD Next time i'll find a propper cliche...
(thogu hit is... sorta...)

!Post Numbero CINCO!

Mucho thanks to mi amiga, Pocky-chan, for allowing me to be a guest poster.

I wanted to post and have an alternating language for the 'title' thing, but it's kind of gotten screwed up. I don't really know the number 5 in too many languages anywho. XD

Cliche (invisible little mark about the e!) !:

That transformation sequences seem to take minutes at a time, and the hero/heroine can transform multiple times in an episode, only to take minutes each time.

So why doesn't the villain just attack while they're stuck transforming? That'd be the best attack. >.>

They'd never see it coming. >:D

But seriously, transformation sequences take FOREVER. For example in the animes Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, Tokyo Mew Mew, Sailor Moon (best known), and Powerpuff Girls Z (I've only seen examples, not the show), the transformation sequences can take from seconds to what seems like minutes.

A smart villain would just attack while the hero/heroine is changing. Maybe the hero has some magical force surrounding them when they change? Is that what could be protecting them?

Anyone have an views, other animes where this takes place (I've missed a TON, I know), or ideas on what could be causing this to happen?
