I've said it once and I'll say it again, I LOVE MIYAZAKI MOVIES!!!!!! <3<3<3
I live for them! and Princess Mononoke is certainly no exception ^^ This movie, however, is sort of different from the other Miyazaki films because of it's--graphicness? Well most of his movies don't have such explicit violence (though most have oodles of blood) and slightly suggestive lines (very slightly) but It's also one of my favorites and it doesn't lack in magic at all!!! One of the things I love about Miyazaki's films is the fact that there is no "evil" character, just--ignorant. It's got awesome action and the soundtrack Wooooo!! (I also love Joe Hisaishi) The sound track is pure fantasticness!!!! I adore how Hisaishi can change his style from movie to movie unlike some *cough* DANNY ELFMAN (i luff you anyway) Anyway! So yes, There's violence, There's magic, There's morals, There's AWESOMENESS!!!!!
If you haven't seen it, do so. You shan't regret it!!!!! (there's wolves!!)
Yes, yes, Monster is proving to be a very fabulous show! I really enjoy how it's so--not anime :3 like it's reallistic(ish) but...considering two of the major characters are a surgeon and a sociopathic murderer, there really isn't much gore. That was kinda disappointing. But it touches on all kinds of relationships whether people are lovers or just love their chillins (kids) it's really quite touching. Yet there's still some thrilling and actiony moments >:D oh yes, go watch (or read). you won't be disappointed :)
woooohooooo this is the first review I've done in AGES!!!! Okay, I haven't actually seen the whole series yet, in fact I've only seen the first two episodes but I'm still uber excited about it!!!So MONSTER is based off the manga by Naoki Urasawa, yes? I can't say that i'm familiar with his work but from what i know his manga are smiled upon :D One thing that I like about MONSTER is that it's different than most anime nowadays because not every character is super cute/sexy and a teenager >3< They all appear human and different which is a breath of fresh air ^//^ The main character is also a surgeon which is also a nice change of pace from bounty hunters and "the most powerful fighters in the WORLD!!" yep, yep, and so far, I can't quite tell where the plot is going but there's been much of the murdering and psychological games so this is promising >:3--clearly, there isn't a whole lot that I can say about it right now but when I'm able to watch more, I'll report back!
MONSTER can be seen on SYFY on Mondays @ 10pm
go to it. watch it. embrace it and all it's screwed up nature!!!
The live action Blood: The Last Vampire movie was supposed to come out like july 10 or something but it didn't come out in any theatres near me :( I was really looking forward to it. but, Ponyo comes out in a couple weeks :D (the new miyazaki movie) and im reeeaaaalllly hoping that shows in a theatre near me because I just might die if i don't get to see it X_X (yes, I love miyazaki that much)
ooh! word is on the otaku that a new inuyasha series is on it's way :D well, it's not like "new" but it will properly conclude the anime ^^ and god knows it needs it. hmmm, me think that's all the news for now, so ciao!
oh wow...it's actually over...ya know I actually thought I wouldn't like this show but guess what...I LOVED IT!!!! well, you can tell what kind of anime it's going to be from episode one seeing as there's a huge bloody massacre DX but there's also some fun light hearted stuff ^^...not much though. I wouldn't recommend watching this if you get really attatched to characters because it's a war anime, PEOPLE WILL DIE!!!...i think it's also a hate america anime -_-...oh well!!! The art and animation is great too (well der! the characters were designed by CLAMP!) and the music WOO!! All the opening songs were awesome as were the images that with them. observe the awesome!!!
:vid eo:
okay...the hand looks weird at the end, but the colors!!!! ahem, any way, one thing i appreciated about code geass was the explosive emotion. yes, explosive. I say this because like when a character dies, the reactions are brief but intense, and rather reallistic!...ya know, Code Geass is pretty much gundam meets deathnote, except the protagonist kind of has a heart...yep this one was a good one ^^ I always love a show that I can't predict and this was one of em!(unpredictable in a smart way, not a random way)So go watch it! love it!! but like I said, lots of death...and...fanservice. . .i sometimes it was a little much but hey, with a show like this, sometimes you need a distraction from all the dying--highly unrealistic distractions 0_o...erm, BYE!!!!
