Anari was a beautiful princess who lived in a palace in a far away land that nobody has ever really heard of. Her parents were the king and queen. She has golden yellow eyes, and very dark brown hair. She is a tall, skinny girl, who never got the chance to do anything on her own. Everything was done for her, and she didn’t like things that way because she had such a mind of her own.
It was a rainy day by the palace, and a young princess by the name of Anari had just come home from a royal ball. She sat down in the sage chair next to the balcony and took a deep breath. Anari got back up glanced at the mirror, and silently wished she could do things for her self. As she wished, a comet shot through the sky. Anari undressed, and went to bed, only to find when she woke up, all was the same.
After she woke up, Anari did the same thing she did every morning. She ate breakfast with the king and queen, she attended her lessons, and she had tea. The day went by quickly and Anari soon found herself thinking up an escape plan. Anari would continue through the day, when night falls, her plan would take place. She would pack up all of her most valued possessions, clothes, and anything else she would need to survive in the wild. She would then tie up the blankets and sheets from her bed, and she would tie the “rope” to the balcony.
The only problem was that guards surrounded the palace. She would have to make a disguise or a distraction. After mauling things over, Anari figured it would be much easier to make a disguise, not just because it would require less time needed to think out another plan, but because she didn’t really want the whole palace to find out that she would be escaping that night. Anari decided to fix her hair, she would dye it black. For the clothes that she would wear, she was just going to go to the hamper, and take one of the maid’s uniforms. She would pack up all jewelry that she was wearing so the hoards didn’t suspect anything. If the guards did catch her, she would have a covering over her face, and she would tell them a family member was in grave danger. It was all planed out. The only thing she needed was for darkness to come.
As it started to get darker, Anari changed into her disguise. She packed up everything she needed, and started to tie her covers together when she heard the door knob shake as if it were to open, and then a knock. It was one of the maids.
“Princess Anari, have you seen my uniform. It’s disappeared.”
“No, I’m doing something.”
“Could you keep an eye out for it, please?”
“Yes, I’ll look for it”
“Thank you, Princess”
She thanked the heavens that she had locked her door before she changed into uniform. If she hadn’t she would have been in extreme trouble for taking and wearing the uniforms. Not only that, but her parents would wonder why she was tying her covers together, why she had dyed her hair, and why she had all of her jewelry off. She would have to do a better job next time, if there was a next time.
