Red Velvet!

BIRTHDAY
*dances around house*
Ok so today is my birthday and I'm super excited because I get to go trick-or-treating later and hey I'm legally able to work now!
14! Yeah!
WHOO

Anyway when I came downstairs this morning there were two cards a book and a red velvet doughnut sitting at my place at the kitchen table!!
My mom got me a card with Legolas on it >w<
And apparently the doughnut was from my brother which is really nice of him UvU

Also my mom got me some awesome music books for my flute as an early present! One is for Pirates of the Caribbean and the other has some songs that are popular now~

You know what

Yes I missed four days of school
I have to go tomorrow...
but
HALLOWEEN WAS POSTPONED
THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE
I mean I get to go out and get candy on my birthday but still
Halloween is not a thing you can just pick up and move to another day.
I even had all my makeup on and everything but suddenly ~no halloween~ so...
at least my flute teacher liked the costume....

Also-- got my internet! And power and stuff but internet is the most important!
So that's good

Um....carved a pumpkin to be like Candy corn vampire, was not pleased with the result ~~because I forgot to carve out teeth the first time~~

The black face paint around my eyes won't come off like the rest of it so I've got this really thin line of black all around my eyes that looks like eyeliner
and a red stain on my stomach from the fake blood that I used on my costume that looks like I got shot!

No school yesterday today and tomorrow
no power either :I
a tree decided to fall across my street onto the powerlines above my driveway, so no power and no escaping my house
Ah boredom ,_,
Luckily some electric people came and cut up the tree so we could leave but they didn't fix the wires....
Hopefully I'll have power tomorrow
And here's hoping all the eastcoast people here are okay!
