Sands of Destruction

Plot: In this world, humans are ruled by the beast-men, and the conflicts are endless. A young man named Kyrie gets caught up in a fight between the beast-men's World Salvation Committee and wanted criminal Morte Ashela. Kyrie and a self-proclaimed hero, a dwarf bear named Toppi, are labeled as members of Morte's World Destruction Committee and have to go on the run. With this, the ragtag crew's adventures get off to a wild start... (A)

Other: "Sands of Destruction" is based on the Sega game of the same name, or "World Destruction" in its original release. Despite the anime's short 13-episode run, the story has plenty of twists and a smashing ending, to boot!
