Other: A good but sadly unfinished story. Some scenes can be quite ugly -- be ready to cover eyes and/or hit FF.

Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet

Plot: A space soldier named Ledo is sucked into a space-time warp while fighting a battle. He wakes to find himself stranded on an unknown planet with only his mech and the crew of the fleet, Gargantia, to aid him. (It just took a HUGE plot twist!! -- A)

Objectionable Content: Mild language and suggestive themes

Other: Somewhat slow-paced, but entertaining and high-quality.

Case Closed (Detective Conan)

Plot: Jimmy Kudo, a teen gifted with amazing intelligence and a knack for cracking cases, is targeted by a shady enemy -- but the drug they used to try to kill him turned him into a child! Now, Jimmy goes by the name, Conan Edogawa, and helps his girlfriend's father solve cases while trying to return to normal. (A)

Music: Takes away from the mood, wrecking scenes that should be emotional (D)

Other: I've only seen the first season in its entirety. Overall, it's enjoyable -- the cases are interesting, and so are Jimmy's gadgets. But some of the gimmicks are overused.

Lagrange- the Flower of Rin-ne (Rinne no Lagrange)

Plot: Madoka, lone member of her school's Jersey club, finds a girl named Lan on the beach, who asks her to pilot a robot to defend Earth... (B)

Other: A more down-to-earth mecha sci-fi for girls. I only watched the first season.

Eden of the East

Plot: Three months after the victim-less terrorist attack dubbed "Careless Monday", Saki Morimi is on her graduation trip to Washington D.C. When she runs into a bit of trouble there, she is bailed out by an amnesiac named Akira Takizawa who has nothing on him but a gun and a cell phone charged with over 8 billion yen... (A very involved, well-written and unique story -- A+)

Characters: Interesting but somewhat underdeveloped (B+)

Art & Animation: A-

Voice Acting: Dub -- A-

Music: I can't recall it standing out much (B)

Objectionable Content: Blood, Suggestive/sexual material, profanity

Other: A good story with some really odd (often awkward) factors thrown in. It's not for everybody, but it's an interesting watch.
