Sad Love Story
You smile and say you love me.
I smile because I know you don't.
I asked myself why do you stay with him? and I reply;
Because love makes you blind.
I sigh and look at the stars.
"They are so beutiful" I say.
"just like you" you say.
I look in your eyes and see the faux loving look.
I give you a smile, but the sadness spills through my eyes in the form of tears.
You pretend to be concerned, and you put your arm around me.
I look at my watch and feighn suprise.
"Oh my Gosh! I was supposed to be home an hour ago!"
You say youll drive me home, and I refuse, saying that I should just go.
You give me a heart stopping smile, and say you will pick me up tomorrow at 7:00.
I run away.
I'm suffocating, drowning in this false love.
I know you only stay because you know I wont leave you.
But if I could, I would have.
