So I've been thinking about doing a cosplay of my gijinka Patrick. I'm doing his more recent out fit that I made for him that I still need to make a full body picture of him alone because the other outfit that I have him in just no I don't have time or the funs for that right now sadly. oTL I would also rather make that one myself rather then try to find and buy all the parts to that outfit.
I found relatively close to the same color cargo pants that would be able to ship next week, along with a purple vest and a darker purple t-shirt that I can wear under the vest. The boots, I found black boots that are close to the same style that Patrick's are that aren't shown in this picture. His gloves on the other hand I want to try and knit myself since I'm trying to learn how to knit anyways and it will come in handing knowing how to knit fingers into fingerless gloves. But I ordered the purple wig that I'll add the pink and yellow colors to when it gets here and I bought purple and Pink fabric for me to make the ears and tail myself.
Now for all this not including the contacts that I'm still iffy about getting it's around 170-180 USD. The contacts would be around 63 USD and that's including shipping and tax. But they wouldn't have my perception in them so I would have to wear my glasses when I wear the contacts. I know that I'll be okay because today was payday for game stop. It sucks being paid every other week, but it's nice to see a decent pay check when I check out my account. Any who the biggest thing would be having to wear my glasses even though Pat doesn't wear them. What do you think should I get the contacts to complete the cosplay or go with out them?
I'm doing it so that way if I work at game stop on halloween which is more then likely I can walk in as Pat and see how many people can guess I'm a liepard gijinka XD *shot* I would totally put up pictures for you all to see how my attempt to make Patrick's cosplay work. XD
EDIT: I just ordered the contacts. I couldn't find them with my prescription I looked at some that I would have been able to get a prescription with and they can't even get them strong enough for my prescription. XD My eye's are that bad they are -5.50 and they only went down to -3.50
