How is the site's speed going for you?
We took EVERY measure to make sure our site's speed was blazing fast. I spent months researching to find the best new host. I made sure all our code was scalable. I invested in servers 300% more powerful than our old ones. And then by some EVIL coincidence, one of the major internet providers, who our new host happens to use, suddenly has major problems resulting in severe on and off speed issues. I feel like all my experience is worthless when we have to deal with this.
Our host tells us that since the problem isn't directly their fault their hands are tied and don't know how long it'll take to fix. It's been over two weeks now--I really want to fire them and move on but it'll result in days more downtime which we can't afford. I HATE this.
As some of you know one of my guilty pleasures is that I love massages. Operating at less than 100% capacity I decided I needed a little rest and scheduled a 1-hour Swedish massage for tomorrow.
Sometimes I wonder, why didn't I found a website on reviewing spas? Press badges to conventions are one thing, press visits to spas are quite another...
I finished all of Solty Rei in only two days. That's 13 episodes / day...
(Yeah, I'm still bed-ridden, but I managed to do some improvements to the backroom early in the afternoon.)

I spent 3-4 hours in bed today just watching Solty Rei, one of the FUNimation series they passed along during my trip there. It'll probably be a while until I'm at 100% capacity again so please be patient with all the site imperfections and my delays. So far I like Solty Rei, I'd give it a B+, it's just what I need right now.

I've been playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl all day to try and get my mind off things. For some reason the game does not work online, every time I try to connect it gives an error message, but single player is amazingly good. The single player is like a quasi-3D platformer game that could have probably been sold stand-alone. It's a little reminiscent of Kingdom Hearts...
I'm happy that a lot of members have re-submitted their avatars to be 100 by 100 pixels, it really makes a difference in the look of the entire site.
I'm also happy to see a lot of people referencing our new 'hat' mascot.
