This is my entry for the "Your OTP" wallpaper challenge hosted by crystal fantasia. I apologize for this being sort of last minute. I've had a lot going on last month. But without further ado, here it is.

One of my favorite all time anime couples are Usagi Tsukino and Mamoru Chiba. I loved Sailor Moon deeply as a child and I liked the romantic relationship between Usagi and Mamoru.

The reason I like this pairing is because they have a timeless love. They fell in love as Prince Endymion and Princess Serenity and they find each other again as Mamoru and Usagi. They have a type of love that outlasts time and that's the type of love I'd like to find one day.

He gave his life to protect her, she did the same for him. To me it doesn't get any better then that. That is why Usagi and Mamoru are my favorite anime couple.

Making this wallpaper was extremely difficult in the fact that I had to basically cover up this huge page indentation that ran down the middle of the scan. I had the hardest time with Usagi's hair. It took me several times to smooth it out and make it flow right. For the editing and blending of the scan I used the smudge tool. It is extremely difficult to use and because of this process, this wallpaper took me a very long time to work on. Overall I did like how it turned out.

For textures, I was originally going to use a cosmic type image but it ended up not really working. In the end I used gradients and a few light leaks to enhance the colors.

One more thing I'd like to add is that while I was making this I listened to all of Taylor Swift's 1989 album. The songs helped me concentrate while I was working on this wallpaper.

That being said, I hope everybody enjoys the wallpaper.
