Yu-Gi-Oh:Duel Monsters(simply known as Yu-Gi-Oh in the US versions)
I started watching Yu-Gi-Oh way back when I was in 4th grade. I didn't know what made me like Yu-Gi-Oh exactly. I think it was the awesome characters,the storyline,the cards,I really don't know what exactly drawn me to this anime. I just remember seeing an episode on a Saturday morning(back when Saturday morning cartoons were still awesome) and I was hooked and I watched it every week for there on out. I'll admit there's still a few episodes I haven't seen and I plan on going back and watching them again soon. I have loved Yu-Gi-Oh as long as I could remember. It was one of the first animes I've ever watched. Yugi is still one of my anime heroes. He's epic,caring,and courageous. He is still one of my most favorite characters to this day.
This wallpaper took me a bit to decide how I wanted to go about creating it. At first I was originally going to extract Yugi from the screenshot but it didn't really seem right to me. So since the screenshot was such good quality,I gave it the same treatment as I would a scan,basically using it as the base for the wallpaper. All I did was use one texture,one brush,and an action to enhance the colors a bit. I didn't want to go overboard on this wallpaper because in this case,less was definitely more. I had fun creating this. Yugi is still one of my most favorite characters. I hope everyone enjoys the wallpaper.
