Wow Christmas is only a few weeks away, can you believe it? And next week I get off for winter break too. I'm so excited about it! A whole week off of school. Well maybe it's a little longer than a week but anyway, TIME AWAY FROM SCHOOL YAY! Seeing all these Christmas decorations everywhere is making me so happy and full of the Holiday spirit. I'm just tired of the overly commercialized part of it. Seeing all these phony commercials makes me mad. They're missing the whole point of Christmas! They think that you have to have the latest computer or the latest smart phone or whatever. It makes me mad and sad at the same time! It's about being with your family and celebrating a time when we can all be together. Also it's the day when everyone put past their differences to celebrate the birth of a boy who helped everyone. Why can't people just stop and think about it? Like that Taylor Swift song says, "Here's to the Birthday Boy who saved our lives." I love that song. It's called Christmas Must Be Something More by Taylor Swift. It talks about everyone missing the point of Christmas. It pretty much talks about everything I've mentioned above. Sure I like getting and giving gifts and presents but that isn't what it's all about.
For my wallpaper I featured Jaden and Alexis together for Christmas. They're just happy to be with each other and they look like they don't care about the gifts. At least not material gifts but the gift of being together and celebrating Christmas as good friends. To be honest I had the hardest time extracting this vector. But I am really pleased with how it turned out. I didn't originally plan to use these characters but it was the only image that fit in with my blue Christmas/Wintery background. Sometimes it's a good thing when things don't always go as you plan. I really had fun extracted this image and creating this wallpaper to celebrate this special time of year. I would like to dedicate this wallpaper to my friend SakuraLacusSaiyan for being a good friend. Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope everyone also has a very Happy New Year as well.
