Moooonths ago, Dranz-sensei requested I do some 'Dynasty Warriors' art. She's a HUGE fan. And I'm a HUGE fan. So we were like having fun talking about it. XD She supports the Wei while I support the Shu. X)

So one of the request was a wallpaper. :D I asked her recently would she like Cao Cao and Xiahou Dun on a wall together or separate? These are her two fav guys. XD I don't really care for Cao Cao >.< *runs and hides before getting killed* o.o She said together so I did this. :)

I was at first kinda having trouble figuring out how I wanted to do this because for one I felt rusty...like I really haven't done a wallpaper in a long time. I mean I did that Doctor Who one last month? And it felt awhile since I did anymore. <.<; So I wasn't really confident going into this, but I kept going anyways. It turned out to my liking. I just hope sensei really loves it. =D

Well one thing I skipped on doing that I normally do is extract. I didn't extract them at all, I decided to somehow joined the images together and used clone stamp to fill out the rest of the wall. The texture from the clone stamp and the original images were not the same so I had to do some tweaking with that too. Wanted to make Xiahou Dun's hand overlap Cao Cao. XD That was pretty fun to do. XD The hardest part is trying to join them without it looking too off. Also I the colors and trying to make it look as one. I messed with the saturation on one layer and overlay on another (mostly around the face). I put some red into it really to symbolize blood, but I didn't want it to be too obvious or rather not have the red stand out so much. Then used a paper texture...and voila, though I did more than this just would take awhile for me to explain everything. XD Decided the text added a nice touch. :) The top says "Cao Cao" the middle is "Wei" and the bottom is "Xiahou Dun". (If my memory serves me correctly)

Disclaimer: I know Cao Cao and Xiahou Dun are historical figures, but the characters on this wall of these two belongs to Omega Force and Koei. :)
