I LOVE THIS WALLIE! And I don't even care for the characters all that much. XD
My brother-in-law requested a wall with both King from 'Tekken' and Iori from 'King of Fighters'. And I really love doing crossovers. =) It challenges me alot more. I have so much fun with challenges. Crossovers can be a bit hard because how I go about doing walls I try to make sure it fits the character or at least try as close as I can to fit the character or if not the character at least the mood of the image I'm using OR if someone request a specific mood I try to do that. But he just wanted these two in a wall so he didn't have any specifics. These two a diff characters so...its like I have to put two moods into one, but they do have being fighters in common. So I went for that aspect...blood and roughness and all. I guess that is enough for the emotional aspect...
Technically...lol I'm never good with technical explaining. >.> Um...well...yeah... =D I always start with a white blank bg. Extract the characters from their own image and paste them on the white bg. Position the characters and then figure out the color of the bg...this one I did black...edit the piccies, did some overlaying, burning, erasing, other things...had a bit of number of layers...new layer added some brush work to spice up the black bg...um...new layers more brushwork to appear as a texture...more layers added some bars...add the text. XD Choose a font that just felt right with the wall and...viola! >.> Was that technical enough? =d lol
I had alot of fun with this though. And its pretty rare for me to create something of characters I'm not that fond of and enjoy it or actually love the result.
