I really like this guy too.. i just hope he will not turn into a bad guy, after all, teito becomes the military's enemy... and for sure, after an attempt or rather assaulting Capt. Ayanami, they're seeking for him and as soon as they find Teito, they will kill him.. 
so, i hope, Mikage (as he promised) he won't turn his back and leave Teito alone in the gutter..
