Yes... I'll admit it... I'm currently reading the "Twilight" novels by Stephenie Meyer.

Why? Because I saw Twilight-related deviations on DA, so I was intrigued. I didn't know what the heck it was or that it was being made into a movie.

While browsing through a fansite, I found gorgeous illustrations that are being used in the Japanese editions of the "Twilight" novels (in my opinion, Japanese manga-style Edward looks better than his Actor counterpart in the movie). The one I chose for this wallpaper is by far my favorite. I haven't read all the novels yet, but I love how Edward is always playing with Bella's hair (makes me almost wish I had long hair instead of really short), hence, that is why I love this image. I completely retraced it in Photoshop. I first traced it in black and white, but I knew that I wanted the finished wallpaper to be sepia colored. I also know that I wanted a whole lot of textures and nothing really big because I wanted to keep the focus on the image I used.

The quote is from my favorite song of all time "Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode (I have the title tattooed on my ankle lol) because I found that it went well with the original feel of my wallpaper.

I don't usually use my own creations as my personal wallpapers, but I love this one so much that I had to use it (and I am using it now).
