In celebration of Bandai's North American release of Gurren Lagann, I constructed this wallpaper. I'm not actually familiar with the show (I intend to support Bandai by purchasing all the DVDs, no matter how weird the schedule), and all I know is that it's amazingly hot-blooded, but I've already grown fond of Shimon and Nia based on their character designs alone.
(By sheer coincidence, I nicknamed my desktop "Nia", short for Niamh, before I'd even really heard of Gurren Lagann. Gurren's Nia seems to match my ideas of my computer's "personality" as well, so I think my liking for Nia is partially based on that...and hence, she's the one chosen for this celebratory wall.)
