I really like Metal Sonic's design...well, I like robots in general, so I guess that's a given.
The original picture of Metal Sonic came from a very boring official wallpaper (it just had three light-blue bars in the background). I isolated Metal, unloaded pretty much every art-cleanup trick in the grimmerie, and produced a much more complex background, then added the text. I rather like this one.
