Second wallpaper made with The GIMP. This one is constructed around the original art for Selene (or Serene; I prefer rendering it as Selene due to the mythological roots) from Riviera: The Promised Land. I've only just begun to play Riviera, but I really like Selene's character. She's got just a tiny bit of tsundere in her, which I like, and her design is so charming.
Incidentally, this is my second attempt at making this specific wallpaper- the first time, I finished cleaning up the image and was arranging the background when suddenly my computer crashed. Of course I hadn't saved anything -_- I had to basically start from scratch after that.
I know the art in this one is pretty weird-looking and pixelated, but that's because the only relatively large image that I had on hand was an official wallpaper from the WonderSwan Colour edition of the game...which had pretty weird/bad art. Still, I think it turned out pretty well considering.
