*is giddy with this one* I love how it turned out! Teehee! ^_^ No, it isn't anyone's request yet...but I came across this place, Kodoku Designs, and they have wonderful PNG's to choose from! I saw Basilisk and liked the show, and thought that she was really cool (she was my bro's fave though)...anyhoo... I saw that someone had used this PNG somewhat recently, but it doesn't matter! I made it totally different. One thing I'm proud of is my use of the liquify tool (I love it!). In the original, her sword, sleeve, left part of her hair, and top of her head/hair is cut off! So I used it and extended them, making them look full. I'm quite proud of my work. ^^ Anyhoo, so I used brushes from aethereality.net (the "ink spot" set) for the bg. I overlayed them on different layers, all of them black...then I gave inner and outer glows to them to make it orange-ish...on one of the layers I used one of the brushes to make it look like a splatter of blood. As for her, I duplicated her and made one of the layers all black and put that in back of her (instead of doing a shadow)...and then I made her eye a separate layer so that'd still be in color while I made her desaturated (black & white)...I used a brush in red overlay to give her the lipstick though. Umm...so, yeah! ^_^ I hope you like it!! I'd say total...this took...1.5 hours or so. I'm proud of it.
