The kanji reads 「国家の成亥」 or 「国家の戊亥」 (because the second to last kanji was crossed out, it's hard to tell - but they both can mean the same name anyway). "Kokka no Inui", or, "Nation/Country of Inui". Without the crossed-out kanji, it means "Nation/Country of the Twelth Chinese Zodiac" or "Nation/Country of the Boar".

>.< no, it's just that if i can read Chinese kanji then i can find the meaning of the Japanese kanji. they mean the same thing, but sometimes, they have some word phrases that would not make any sense when translated into Chinese kanji. like snow watching..... *watches the fuzzies on tv screen*
You should really do wallpapers more often cuz dis is da bomb! Lol I don't think it looks too halloweenish, but then again I really love those colors so I wouldn't really care anyhow. This is so cool! I love it, and the picture you chose makes it look more fabulous
kanji are the Japanese versions (pronunciations) of the Chinese kanji, and katakana are those squiggly characters, you know... with the squiggles and stuff. they are used to like.. write transcriptions of foreign words, like...Macdonald = マクドナルド Makudonarudo then hiragana are just Japanese words. :O hope this helps, and if there's an inaccuracy sorri!
I think this looks rather cool.:D You did a great job for this to be your first wall with CS3. I recentaly got CS3...maybe I should make a wall. Anyway, I really like this.:]
