Mangaka Says No To Anime Museum

Manga artist Kei Ishizaka has become the latest person to criticize the proposed construction of an 11.7-billion anime museum, calling the government project a waste of taxpayers' money. Ishikawa, who won the Grand Prize in the Japan Media Arts Festival in 1999 for her work "I'm Home", is even willing to return the award to the Agency for Cultural Affairs and is set to request that her works not be displayed in the museum because she feels ashamed of seeing it there.
