Dark Knight Snubbed at Oscars
'The Dark Knight' picked up nine nominations for the 81st Annual Academy Awards. Despite its large amount of nominations, the highest grossing film of the year only picked up one high profile nomination. Heath Ledger was nominated, one year after his death, for his much talked about portrayal of the Joker. Source Link
